The whole Blizzard way of looking at things is how long it takes. They probably point to all of us doing this repeatedly and say “Look how much they enjoy this!”

I don’t mean to belittle anyone’s feelings but if a mount is making or breaking your enjoyment, you have to ask yourself why you are pinning your emotional state on a mount. You fell down a rabbit hole over this thing. At first you probably thought it was a fun grind, and then you kept on falling, creating armies of alts to farm it. Maybe it’s time to you know, put it aside after this year and climb back up?

No manuscript or rocket for me yet either (running 5 toons through it daily). Tomorrow is the last day ill be able to run it. This may be the first time I don’t get an event manuscript 
.

Finally got it this year on a fluke run. I spent years farming it diligently and gave up two years ago. It finally showed up. I wish I could say I was more overjoyed, but it feels bittersweet.

just because i’d look fabulous on this thing, doesn’t mean it makes or breaks my enjoyment.
however, owning it would enhance my enjoyment immensely.

I picked the mount up a few days ago and had no idea how rare it was. I also picked up Infinite Timereaver the same week without knowing the mount existed. Pure luck.

Two more days of trying left and another year of wanting to punch a dev for this lousy droprate, especially since it’s supposedly buffed but have the nerve to add an additional drop with similar droprates. Do better.

To be fair … This is basically what Val-day is for a great many people irl.
Maybe their aim is to make it feel “real” in game and leave a majority of players disgruntled and heartbroken.
Which I guess in that sense … They succeeded.

Last, possibly second last day (should have 3 hours after reset Monday morning) and I got it. Quick napkin math and it would be about 1200 attempts overall for me, 28 or whatever chances from the last 2 years at the higher drop rate.
Still no dragon armour, but who cares, not like I would have used that anyway.
