starting to irk me when people post stuff like this.
the mount didn’t exist in 2005, so this has no relevance.
you don’t appear to have killed the boss for the first time until 2017.
it’s almost as if posts like this are designed to undermine the actual issue.
I got it on the 142th kill this year and it was on the 6th kill that day(not the first in other words).

If I see another person say they got it on their 150th or some other tiny insulting number attempt, I am going to scream.
It’s blizzard that should be sorry for having a 1 in 3333 drop chance on a limited 2 week event.

I wish I could just buy the mount for 10 million gold and be done with it. Im so so tired of this every year. I dont understand how Blizzard can read all these comments and feel fine with this mount.

They are laughing at us during thier weekly round tables, look at these metrics of these players running all thier toons, buying new accounts for the love rocket. Our time played metrics are way up everyone bonuses for everyone!

Bro, THANK YOU for saying that. These posts drive me MENTAL. Like, I’ll happily admit that I’ve only been really farming this mount since 2017 - anything before that was on a different account and certainly was just literally 1 or 2 toons doing it whenever I noticed.
But ever since I got into mount hunting in 2017, this has been one of my “big want” mounts like Timereaver, Invincible, Onyxian Drake etc. I have most of them now, but not this one. But yeah, people talk out their butt and say “Oh I’ve farmed it for 15 years” when they would do a couple of attempts per event or skip entire years etc etc. It’s obvious that not as many people as who claim it are actually FARMING it hard.
And there’s nothing wrong with that. I’ll freely say I’ve only been chasing for 8 years, and that’s not as long or as many attempts as some. But it’s TRUE, and it’s still a bloody long time. I don’t have to have THE MOST tries or THE LONGEST grind for my struggle to be valid, and I certainly don’t have to lie about it haha.
Yeah. It’s squeezing lemon juice into the wound and some people enjoy doing that.
Matter of fact, I need to delete my post where I said I didn’t care about it but TBF I did try thousands of times to get it.
yep… it just kind of skews statistics.
if blizz do decide to take another look at the drop rate, they’ll look at all the posts with people talking out their hats, and think it’s an imaginary issue.
honestly, if people got it first go, then good on them.
…it find it more demeaning when people say they’ve been farming it since it was introduced, yet their armory says their first kill was 3 years ago. 
Oh for sure but the person I quoted was talking about others that got it on the first drop (allegedly) then come into threads like this bragging about it and how they don’t even like the mount.

Reset soon. Only 5 days left to get the love rocket for another year.
For me that works out to 5 rolls at a boosted chance and another 65 rolls at a 1/3333 chance.

I’ve yet to get it - but I’ve only consistently farmed it on 4 toons daily (at first I was doing 10+ toons but eh).
I got the drake riding manuscript for the purple armor - which was what I was really after - so, I’m happy enough.
