Yea in their original form when you got all the quests from the portal mage, it was an easy 1000 WR for 10min of work. After the first time, i’ve been ahead and it just keeps growing. Pushing 13k now.

Probably because as previously stated, the mission boards and paragon rewards are extremely lack luster leaving most people with a plethora of unused war resources. If war resources had another use, or those rewards felt worthwile, then maybe we would understand your dilemma.

Method and Limit are EDGE cases. But GOD FORBID their hunter does 1% more DPS than their MAGE ! It’s a scandal ! quickly, put ALL CLASSES into same dps mode with same rotations (spell names change!)

Buy the champion equipment that gives 5% success rate for 200 War Resources from the 7th Legion/Honorbound Vendor and sell it on the AH/Send to your alts.

Voila. You have a use for your War Resources.

Granted, they’re Unique, so you have to do it one by one, but still. You can use a portable mailbox at the vendor and mail it to an alt, then log on your alt, and return the items to your main, then have easy access to them.

The mission tables are basically worthless, I don’t even bother with them at this point. I’m not banging out the war campaign 15 times to get all the followers anyway. I have about 50 resources average per character and that’s only because I spend them on tokens for bonus rolls when I get them. Won’t waste 2,000g for a lump of crappy AP :no_good_woman:

Same. I would love to be able to feed those resources down to my freshly-capped alts. Or give me something to SPEND them on. I’d take worthwhile mission table missions at this point.

This week my alts are getting attention with the 1k WQ quest going on. Other than that, my shaman is working on PF1 and allied race stuff. Even Iradi is benched in the alt section for the time being.

Well I am in the same situation, sitting around 2K now and once I complete mny weekly quest I will get 1K more, I still have to buy 3 FP upgrades from the Honourbound Vendor, not like they do anything, but they are there and are something I can buy with my resources.

And I run as much WQ’s as possible, basically the entire Alliance side every day, whatever Emissary is up and anything extra that grants resources. But I am also every day doing every table mission there is no matter what it is.

Unless you are not spending your resources and are doing every single WQ when it is up, there is no way you could have too much resources.

So what is the point? It’s a lackluster resource used for lackluster rewards. It sounds like you’re doing something, just to do something. If the rewards were worth investing putting resources into them, then this would be a non issue. Or if war resources could be converted into crafting mats or another currency then I would see the use in farming them.

Each Paragon chest is 3.7k-5k gold, 2.5k AP (which is now pretty low but still free), and the battle pets that drop from them can be caged and sold on the AH. Not to mention the feast rank 3 recipe is in the turtle paragon chests.

Definitely not lackluster imo.

All of the pet charms through mission tables, to then spend them to buy pets which I sell on the AH, of the augment rune missions each rune sells for 400g a pop on my server.

Also re-roll tokens? spend 750 a week on them.

You clearly are making a common mistake: assuming ALL players are exactly like you. That is 100% false.

I have 3 level 120s that are doing follower quests. Sometimes I have to go do quests that rewards war resources, just to have enough of them.

The 200 WR emissary reward should be more like 500-600 WR so that alts can actually gather them at a more reasonable rate. Sure if you have just a single level 120 character you have an abundance, but if you have 5+ alts they can be a bit tough to stockpile.
At the very least they could bump it to 250 WR so it covers the cost of a seal, kinda like the 2k gold emissary does.

What he is saying is that the quest should reward more than 200 resources, so it’s not a huge waste of your time, but hey, if you enjoy that then that’s cool.

I can never get enough war resources, but that’s only because I’m trying to get the achievements where you do all the missions. Once that’s done I won’t need them for anything except bonus rolls.

it was a lot easier to get them before darkshore warfront released. The quests in arathi gave you like 1200 total. And also you got them more because other things were giving you resources instead of the new currency.

Oh totally lackluster to me. I only cared about the 20 badges until I got my ring. Nothing else in that chest is even worth turning it in, I make more gold skinning in a few minutes than working a paragon 10,000 rep cache.

What woulda made more sense to me? Paragon cache = 200 Residuum. that would motivate me.

That’s a lot of time to waste when you can just gather mats and make much more in that time span. How much are the pets going for?
