20 years of World of Warcraft. And yet, we haven't seen Elune

She is the sister of the Winter Queen, so she’s not a Deity but a construct as well.

Real life mythology, the Sun and the Moon are lovers that gave birth to the Earth (fill in myth names for Earth here). They’re equal in power and strentgh and watch over the planet in the shifts…daytime - evening.

Interesting to note, Star Trek TNG did a play on this in one episode where Data was taken over by the spirit of the Sun God and Picard had to act like the Moon God to “take over.”

Some things are best left to mystery in a fictional world / story.

I think Blizzard made a cardinal sin exploring the afterlife in Shadowlands…it demystified a massive part of the world.

Likewise, I think if the Elder Scrolls universe ever explored what happened to the Dwemer, it might be bad for the universe. It’s more interesting having them a mystery.

If Blizzard ever dives into Elune, I hope they take that line of dialogue at less than face value. You can call someone a sister / brother / whatever without it being a literal blood (or whatever you’d call it for a construct) relation.

If The Winter Queen is (one of) Death and Elune is Life, cool, but who’s to say the constructs over Death weren’t created as a balance against Elune already existing?

In one of the promotional things for midnight the clouds circling voidly above the sunwell are clearly shaped in elunes symbol so we will see her soon, in b4 it’s actually xalatath or something dumb.

Like the Titans until Legion.

We’ve already seen what blizz does when they lift the veil a little, please dont let them do it again. So much has already been ruined and retconned.

Moon goddess sister of azeroth. Plot twist its not just our planet thats a world soul the moon is as well.

And you know what. We are going there in a future expansion. World of warcraft" da moon.

We fight evil night elves ans everything there looks like a night elf. Night elf bear night elf trees night elf gnomes. Turns out the night elves have been worshipping and evil titan all along.

Azeroth will help us. She is a troll.

Making her an NPC would pretty much demystify Elune.
Yes, that’s bad in a fantasy game.

Elune is actually a god. Not the “Old Gods” which are nothing more than chaos spawned monsters of the void, or Titans which are just ancient constructs, but an actual god. A god that has no physical form and exists on another plane- far beyond mere mortals and immortals. She only appears if those that worship her have dire need of her and she never physically appears in any form- just extends her power remotely.

She seems to be a higher being than normal Titans because even Eonar had a place with her name.

She can be a life entity, but also Astral magic such as Starfall and such are Arcane based.

If they make Elune a basic life Titan it’d be pretty weird.

Elune that one who is sister of the Winter Queen who is also a construct created by the First ones?

What is she? a construct? a Titan?

Is still canon that she send all the souls from Teldrasil to Ardenweald?

I don’t know what it is going anymore…

Somewhere a wow enthusiast is thinking “Can we kill it”.

I really hope not. They will absolutely butcher it.

Look up at night.

She was in shadowlands… I know everyone hates that expansion but shes a robot god thing

And I hope it stays that way

Blizzard please do not touch Elune.
Until you can undo/fix the lore that SL messed up.
Show us more of Elune when you can pull off another Legion/Wrath expansion.

When last it was mentioned, Elune was sitting on Europa with the black monolith from 2001 space odyssey, preparing that moon for new life.
