While I’m stoked this set is finally available, it is a shame it’s a real money shop item. I was hoping for the trading post, or maybe it and the Sylvanas set would be part of the 20th anniversary. I feel dirty, but i am going to set aside my morals and buy it. This is how they get you 
Store stuff and promotional mounts and pets have been coming out pretty regularly since almost forever. I think it’s nice that they have a way of giving these items out later on for free in the trading post. Varian is a cool character, maybe they will do a Jaina outfit soon! Oh I would like that.
Yeah hating, so dont cry at the response. Nobody wants to hear your opinion about a decision on how they spend THEIR money either

Yea. Shoulda either have been more or been 0 dollars and instead be unlockable by doing some form of in game content with lore based quests around them…I bought it.

It’s not Garrosh’s armor though…it’s Gladiator Varian’s armor from when he was forced to fight in the arena. He was captured by orcs thus why the armor seems horde themed but it’s Varian’s old armor and you can even supposedly get the sword for it from the trading post
It says in the shop it will be leaving indefinitely. I’d be surprised if it ever comes to the Trader’s Post.

Wish they’d give us a strait up look at the armor instead of posing the figures. Can’t really see what the chest is doing on either the orc or the night elf.
i legit thought this was a april fools thing. this doesnt even look like 20$ armor it looks like a budget 5$ recolor
I remember when you went to Taco Bell with 5$ and could eat like a king. Get 2 bean burritos, some nachos, and tacos.
But everyone has something to say about the ppl that can spend money on it , lol. Funny ppl dont even realize its Varian Wrynns iconic gladiator armor, that the community asked for a long time ago, a comic was even done about the storyline that intertwined directly with the game at the time. I think at one time somebody even suggested this set be a Brawlers Guild reward but they removed that from the game. God forbid this was offered as a PvP reward cuz ppl would start crying about it being locked behind PvP
