$20 bucks you get a beta key

I’d gladly pay you for a key just sell em. 12-15 bucks a month? How about $20 usd for a stress test key, that way I can test and set up all my stuff in advance thanks. It’s just money I spend that on lunch.

Oh and for all of you wondering who I am, I’m basically the best player in the world, no one can touch my skill, I’m top no question. No kidding I caught a fish this big one time… Best Fisher ever

The number of people in the beta is going to be small, they said. They don’t want to sell keys, and if you’re only subbing for a beta key, you’re going to likely be disappointed.

Paying for service is shady? In what universe? Stealing wifi maybe but not paying! This is wow remember they do this for $$

I think you phrased this wrong, Didn’t think about selling keys. They sell mounts for $$ and pets that do nothing.

No, they don’t want to sell keys, because then self-entitled rich kids are the ones who get in, and do nothing but play WoW and report nothing. Why should they contribute? They already paid to be there, they’ve done their part already.

Pretty sure they do. They said if you want a chance to beta u got to be subscribed, pretty much the same thing. Except one shows better on the report to shareholders.

Power to the people, I mean dollars!!!

Subbing doesn’t get you a beta key any more than opt-ing in does. Its a requirement to be in the running.

I don’t see the fascination for beta.

It’s a testing period. You’re there to test the game and report bugs. You’re not there to play for fun. I think the people begging for beta won’t actually test the game. They’ll just run around and encounter bugs and not report them.

It matters this time around, before this you only had to be opt in didn’t have to be subscribed, to get in. This time you do! I’m saying well if your going to charge let me pay you for the service I’d like to get.

A sub is required to get into the beta.

They went past selling keys to selling the hope of getting a key. I’m not sure which is worse.

Waiting for the anti Multi-boxing crowd to point out how multi-boxers will have more chances at getting a beta invite.

:cocktail:

Good point you win!

Its selling keys in controlled amounts. If you prefer we can call it “eligible for key sell”

If you have them linked to one email do you still get Xtra rolls? I always wondered that. And anti-boxers are the worst, basically the racists of wow.

:raising_hand_man: Oooh ooh, that’s me. Hate me! Hate me!

In reality it doesn’t work that way unless you put your accounts on different Battle Net accounts, because when they do Betas it adds a new Game account to your Battle Net account, not one per subbed account.

Am I missing something here?

You do know they haven’t actually emailed you a typed in key in like a decade, right?

It’s changing your account’s permission status to be able to access beta client material. Pretty sure you’d have to give some one full access to your account to let them play on your key.

That’s what I always thought, hated the choice when I merged em all back in the day

Interestingly I worked out how to get multiple PTR accounts on my one Battle Net account. If I get into Beta I’ll see if I can do the same.
