2 use trinkets in a delve

Thanks Blizz.
Granted I needed to get rid of 1, but having both be USE? Why?
Use trinkets are the worst type of trinkets.
and from the same delve too. One is 639 2/8 (1st bountiful of the week tier 8) and if that was the only use I would gladly take it without complaint. But both? Come on!
WHY USE?

I’m not defending the overall quality of Delve trinkets, but on-use are not the worst type of trinkets. I’m partial to procs myself, but sometimes a really powerful on-use that ties in nicely with your big CD’s can be amazing.

Are they good on use that you can macro with stuff or is it that terrible garbagemancer one

You always want one on use Trinket that has the same CD as your big CD’s.

that and funhouse lens, which I just got as my SECOND bountiful tier 8 delve at 639…

Im with OP on this one. If i get on-use, i macro to something thats likely to corrospond to its CD. Give me passive or proc all day.

I dont mind them i just wish theyd remove the 20second internal CD.

The grenade DoT one does a ton of damage for me though. On short encounters its my strongest DoT… as Affliction lol

Granted im only like 635 item level and that Trinket is like my highest item right now.

I felt the same, until i got that Spymaster’s Web trinket at the end of the last season that is. That thing is crazy, using a 40 stack gave me something like a 60% damage boost on Delve bosses compared to what i was previously pulling before i got the trinket. I definitely felt the loss as i was clearing and waiting for the 40 stacks to build up, but man that was a strong on-use!

I just macro’d mine since it was on the same 2 min cooldown as my ability.

/cast [@player] trinketname

I fire and forget.

But OP claimed on-use trinkets to be “worst” type. Macroing those with your big CD doesn’t mean they are worst, but it can be (and actually is for many) completely opposite and rather more powerful.

If the issue is “macro with CD” then you can add those to bar and manually press it to use? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

And guess what? You DON’T have to have yet another buff to track with WA or addon for the proc, which is the case with other trinkets.

I’m told based on the forums that your next 48 will also be trinkets so you’re in luck. :four_leaf_clover:

as long as it does big damage, idrc if its on-use or not. i just gotta have that extra click do something worth me remembering to actually use it lol

Im an lazy trinket wearer. Always take the passive one regardless of performance.
