2 reasons why classic plus is allready dead

Reason #1
2 months into classic plus there will be people selling leveling boosts, someone will figure out how to jig the system, and no one needs to manual level anymore.

Reason #2
Blizzard will add some sort of monetization to the game whether it’s skins/boosts/transfers/ all the sweet, sweet paid services they love to offer you at ridiculous prices.
Now keep in mind, this is the same company that thinks RDF does not belong in classic wow, but level 58 boosts do.

now there is where it gets interesting because RDF would be awesome right now in tbc, at least for content outside of Outland, but the 58 boost is blizzard’s way of selling you a solution to a problem they created.

if the toxic player base doesn’t kill classic plus iam sure the paid services will

IDK. I personally leveled a tank/healer combo in dungeons only, and it was very monotonous. Traveling to the entrance actually helped a lot to make it less boring and allowed time for some smalltalk. Spamming Scarlet Monastery without getting to use the Bulwark Horde AD vendor to sell the greens, or looking at all the people around the summoning stone (and on pvp servers, having to fight your way to the portal) would be even more boring than it currently is.

So adding RDF to the old world might have the opposite effect. The DPS would be happy, but the dungeon spammers among the tanks and healers would probably start using it less.

I’m always one of the first people to make it to the dungeon I don’t think I’ve gotten a summon in like 2 years. Feels bad, i should just kick up my feet pour a drink and let others expend the energy

This is not what will ruin Classic+ I think.
Store things won’t deter me, but the fast and furious ideology of the “new Blizzard” will.
Blizzard not being able to make a game that’s not a zug-zug to max level, or cater to the elitists, and the speedrunners, who are always the first to leave the game for a new shiny.
Classic+ won’t be Classic in anything but name.

Honestly, the bots and gold sellers blizzard refuses to do anything about will ruin it, guaranteed…

Mega-realms and fast & furiuos will ruin it better and quicker.

RDF just plain has WAAAY more benefits than not, which is the reason why almost EVERY new MMO in the the past 15 years comes out with some version of it from the START.

I don’t think hardly anyone loves PVP more than me, I live for it.. Hell I don’t even join a dungeon for the dungeon, I join these boring tedious dungeons to get gear that will allow me to compete to get the better PVP gear. Now that being said, the last thing I want to do at a freaking summoning stone is have a PVP battle.. I want to get in these silly 1 and 2 step, don’t hit when he says this, avoid this green crap over there, make him face this way, SNOOZE fest and get my freaking gear. Yesterday our healer was falling asleep in the dungeon and I don’t blame her. After running the same crap for 400 times just to get REP for another toon I would fall asleep too.

So yes, give me a RDF all day any day, that way I can be somewhere farming or doing quest for money and still join a dungeon group vs traveling to some freaking Stone in the middle of nowhere only to possible have to fight for a few minutes just so I can summon party members.

But I know I know, “MMO’s are just not for you” right? No, I’ve been playing these things way before WOW and one of the best features they ALL added was a RDF for their player base. Quick in and Out, everyone is happy, even us guys that find Dungeons boring as blank.

And just to hammer it home some of the best World PVP was not at some summoning stone back in OG WOW or Beta OG WOW. It was Redridge Mountains, when we were all limited to lvl 25 (Beta) and Tarren Mill vs Southshore back before we had a honor system. We would literally have 24/7 PVP WARS, it was the AV before there was a AV.

quick games a good game

As a player who only spams dungeons to level, I disagree, RDF makes them too impersonal and soulless, and I can’t spam content that is like that.

For example, when I’m spamming ZF, I need to go to Gadgetzan once in a while to unwind, check the neutral AH, maybe kill some pirates etc.

And the absolute worst is just sitting in a city spamming RDF. It doesn’t even feel like you’re a person at that point, just some function in a machine.

That’s on you, how you choose to spend your time in a queue and if you just need to make friends and talk to people than I don’t know what to tell you other than go outside and make some.

Also I spend my time in a queue farming stuff or getting stuff I need done, not sitting in a city looking at paint dry.

Bottom line is one of the worst things I and others like the OP think that the Classic+ team does is not have a RDF. Hopefully these streamers that they will be listening too when they go visit them soon don’t put that in their ear…

lol, you make no sense
the only difference between spamming dungeons with/without RDF is running to the instance. Is that exciting for you?

Well do you have a tank alt? Did you level that alt all the way from 18 to 70 without a single non-dungeon quest done or a single BG? If yes, your opinion might have some value, though I still don’t agree with it. If no, not sure why you even took the time to respond, as RDF queues are determined by the serial spamming tanks. Without them, you’ll just have 5 hour queues. And I don’t think serial spamming tanks wouldn’t break mentally if you forced them to sit in SW pressing the queue button.

Like, even just assembling the group is fun in itself. You take that away, you take away part of the fun. RDF gives you a group comp you might hate. Some tanks like to go with a full ranged group. Well, most tanks. Some like melee cleave. Why would a tank who is aiming to do 30 Scarlet runs in a row want that freedom taken away from them?

As a person LOATHING PvP I totally agree. Let me explore, Quest and level while sitting in a Queue for a dungeon, take the TP there do my thing take the TP back again and be happy.
If the group is rotten and I leave, or the group think I’m rotten and kick me, I have not lost much in either time or ressources. And I can queue again if I like.

You’ve outted yourself as being a useless carry who doesn’t know what you’re talking about.

you didnt finish the sentence

one rakes in $$
one offers players a free option to queue up for dungeons at an easy accelerated level

it would for leveling up to 58, oh wait I’ll just swipe that card cause that’s easier, don’t wanna get FOMO! Accelerated timeline here

i think you yourself have not me

I always find it amusing when people point out flaws in games that don’t exist, yet

i think they have to release it at this point, right? Everyone had already decided it’s official without it being official lol

If this launches without RDF style queued content then I think the game will suffer for it in the modern market.

U guys Will be mad, C+ Will not die.

Sod died because it was a season. Sod was filled of people the days before Blizzard screw us with the “no more updates for sod” announcement.

Kharazan and enclave were top peak content
