Venthyr I imagine. Ashen Hollow buffs HoW damage by 100% if Paladin is standing within it. Probably running Mad Paragon (30% additional damage). Also probably had wings.
It can only happen once every 4 minutes. The paladin went for a very offensive build. It’s intended.
Gotta pop a defensive or line it.

It was Ashen Hollow (100% increase damage to HoW) + Sky Fury (20% increase to crit) and HoW legendary (30% increase damage to HoW) + Wings.
Yes, obviously you should run. Problem is, the mage just popped combust. So who is more of a threat to you? The palidan or the mage. The palidan used aura master and freedom to get there in a second and our priest went to line the mages combust.
Like, you can say you should just use a CD or line it, but it’s not like the HEALER is the only threat here. That’s why it’s broken. It’s a healer. It’s not a dps. The game isn’t even remotely balanced for healers being able to do that kind of damage. It’s an unreasonable ask if we have to treat every holy pali with the same level of concern as a dps.

Technically you can queue as triple dps in 3’s. I don’t think Blizzard necessarily cares to reinforce the 1 healer + 2 dps meta. If a healer can pop off dps every 4min, they’re OK with that.
I say that as someone who runs Kyrian Paladin for PvP and once got deleted by a Venthyr Holy Paladin who ran Vanguards cause they chucked 2 hammers at me within the span of a global. It doesn’t happen often, so I just laughed.

Sure, but if you get all the benefits of having a healer and the ability todo more burst then the majority of DPS, something is off. I wish… I could hit that hard on my hunter.
