Nothing is Boring - I have tried Tanks, Healers, and DPS and find them fun. That said - I find more satisfaction sometimes in being of service and that means healing.

No. Consistently trying to best yourself and others while handling mechanics is very rewarding. It’s the role with the highest skill ceiling in the game. I play healer because I find it relaxing compared to playing DPS well.
Most of what I do in this game is healing, followed by tanking. To me, DPS is ok to play, but I do not normally gravitate towards it.
I have 100+ toons. Out of those, 30+ are Paladins. Probably followed by blood DK’s, resto druid’s, tanky DH toons, and then priests/resto shams.
idk… When DPS’ing, it just seems like more of an epeen race, and I am not super interested in that. I like being able to triage heal - far more interesting, to me.
This is why I dont bother getting in to high + healing. Or even tanking. I want to unwind when playing games.
I have enough stress with real life.
And low level Mythics are fun. Everyone is more relaxed. Noone cares if one person dies a few times. Just get the complete and the Valor.
Unrated BGs are the same. If losing people make jokes rather than get abusive.

Being an ok DPS is boring.
Being a very good DPS is very engaging and stressful.
Healing and dps ain’t that different
You’re just fighting the health bars as a healer.

The only time Ive ever enjoyed DPS was destro lock in MoP (I know, surprise, surprise) and I only rolled the lock to do the green fire quest. She turned out to be one of my best geared toons

Normally, I find DPS boring and prefer healing. I also enjoyed tanking, but would only tank for friends, never in LFG
Try melee DPS, its quite a bit more engaging than ranged imo. I can’t play casters, feels like I’m just standing around.
I find 100% of specs/classes/roles boring while leveling.
Well I played in the double blind secret pre alpha. So yeah. My opinion is worth even more.

Nope. I am actually playing. I just use add ons too. I also find it interesting.
I don’t like Mages, they are boring. There’s several good DPS specs out there though, Warlock, Rogues, DKs, Druids.
I find DPS relaxing to play. You don’t have to do anything important. Just kick, use your stops, and avoid the mechanics. If you know your class, the actual damage rotation part is second nature and doesn’t change as dynamically as healing can.
Healing used to be like this. I’d come home after a long day, toss on a movie onto monitor two, and heal. It was nice. Few hots here and there. That sort of thing. Its evolved so much that I’m racing all over the screen to keep people topped off. it gets crazy.
I’ll chew out the mage for a bit. I’m curious what end game is going to be like. Get into some mythics. Just concerned about even being able to get into one. my healers are always instant invites. I know dps is always fighting for a spot. I typically wait outside whatever dungeon I want, use PremadeGroupFinder for maybe a minute, and land myself a group. I doubt mage is going to be like that, heh.
I couldn’t tank or heal they’re so boring.
