I think they did it intentionally to get people to stop playing SOD long enough to see the announcement.
Didn’t you just kill 90% of all contestants?

The makgora leveling has not started. It starts the day of the event, on a tournament server and people have a timelimit to gear/level.
are we supposed to know who these people are?

I second this emotion.
Go ahead and use old pictures so nobody can recognize these “celebrities”. You guys are so infatuated with yourselves it’s just silly.
Classic is already over and done with. Crusade is deleted. Wrath is on life support, planned for deletion as well. To put it simply, it’s too little too late to get coverage for these games. Any show at this point should be a “post mortem” listing everything the game’s awful developer did with it to help ensure it would fail. That list is a hell of lot longer than the list of good things you did, which would be even shorter if we exclude things that came far later than they should have (RDF for example).
