Ahhha thanks for continuing the joke.
Please tell me more about how hard it is (as a dps) to say “attack x” for rounds. I’m very curious.

Agree pennant is not worth the effort, nor is a temp title. Even with healer queues it isn’t worth it. I stopped after 35 or so wins last season, and finally realized, why am I doing this if not having fun.
It’s much more enjoyable to play alts than to sweat out a pennant.
no, just in terms of overall difficulty
i was #~15 rdruid on the shuffle ladder when i queued, had zero difficulty until around 3k mmr
overall just easier bracket to win games in
The block you quoted addresses this. It’s also disingenuous to suggest that you can reach the highest ratings in shuffle by merely saying “attack x” each round and then doing a dps rotation.
By that logic, what is so much harder in 3v3, where you are in voice comms and shout out “go x” and then the zinger, you then say “swap y”?
The same swaps happen in the higher end of shuffle based on people trading cds, just as they do in 3s.
Everything you are saying is just copium about 3s. Those that aren’t getting carried in 3s are able to similarly perform in shuffle (e.g., r1s can still get r1, glads can still get elite, duelists can still get duelist, etc.).
The ones coping hard on how much harder 3s are (for individual skill to shine ROFL) are just the ones that are able to get glad in 3s but not elite from shuffle, or duelist in 3s but not duelist in shuffle.
Again, it is what it is. I’m really not trying to bruise egos, but anyone that thinks that 3s requires more INDIVIDUAL skill is just fubar (fried up beyond all recognition)
EDIT:
Ah, already posted before I saw this, but yeah I agree with you here. OVERALL difficulty 3s is harder (e.g., more skillsets are required to thrive, including at least team strategy, coordination, communication, etc.)
You sure it’s the 3v3 crowd getting riled up about it?
You’re acting as if the other team isn’t also in coms?
What have I said?
Never glad, got elite season 1 SS and quickly realized the game mode is a joke.
Did duelist S2 in SS for the easy enchant. I still stand by my words and will probably do it again this season.
Actually wish this was true. Had a scrub lifetime 1900 priest fading short range stormbolts like he was Neo in 1500 cr 2’s.
Exactly, they don’t even exist in the game below 2700 cr and even then, it takes a multi rank 1 player to even spot them!
He just got lucky, see above!
We all got elite in s1 ss lol, because r1s were at like 3500+.
You got duelist in s2 and then you hit a wall trying to push any further, because the season wasn’t as inflated. Then you proceeded to rationalize not getting elite by saying “well the mode is a joke”. I don’t expect you to admit this though, at least not publicly.
If rating was inflated the way it was in season 1, and you were able to get the 2400 mogs, you would have done it, and I’m positive that the game wouldn’t be a joke to you then
They aren’t always. When I actually did 3s, I only used comms when on the cusp of reaching a goal (e.g., being within 100-150 points of tabard, glad mount, etc.).
In any event, this reply isn’t addressing what I said. The reply was with respect to comparing the difficulty of saying “go x” at the start of a round vs the difficulty of going “go x” at the start of a round, and then saying “go y” after someone trades a defensive (and in consideration that people will still swap similarly without needing voice comms, at least at the higher end of shuffle ratings).
I have zero doubt lol, you are great proof
Ah, that’s probably why I can’t spot them lol
So sitting around and waiting for inflation was the only way you pushed. Got it.
Why wouldn’t I admit public knowledge?
Nah man I didn’t keep queuing because a tabard and weapon T-Mogs weren’t enough justification for me to do a game mode that I do not find enjoyable.
Brother look in the mirror. This really doesn’t bother me enough to the point where I’m about to attack others people past rating and perceptions.
Thanks for the good chuckle pal.

Things you arent seeing in wow pvp below 2700 cr:
running into walls
ccing mid leap
dropping rings on barriers instantly
kicking at 0.1 seconds
disarming the literal millisecond you pop big dam cds
totems instantly killed before doing anything useful
melding cc perfectly
To even suggest the existence of bots below 2700cr is literally crazy talk and should warrant a lifetime forum ban!!
I don’t imagine it’s that frequent of an occurrence. Did Ven put out another video?
Not that Im aware of
I don’t wait for inflation. I play when I can and/or when I want to play. Inflation might dictate what ratings I reach and/or when I reach them, but I don’t let it dictate when I play the game.
I agree the motivation to push is lacking. The 2400 mogs have been lackluster since s2, and yeah definitely don’t push if you aren’t having fun. I can relate because I felt the same way about the pennant.
On my mage though for example, I wanted the 2400+ mog but I wasn’t good enough to get it. I realize that and I’m okay with that. Just gotta try to improve as I go and maybe I can snag a nice wep mog in a future season
My apologies if you took what I said as an attack on your ratings. My intent was to just call out the cope that equated to “I didn’t get 2400 in s2 because the mogs were trash, because the game mode is a joke, because x, y, z, etc.”, because it’s most likely that you just struggled to reach that goal, and then rationalized not getting it by making a bunch of excuses (e.g., reasons for why every external factor is to blame but not yourself).
For the record I’m a huge “don’t bash anyone for their ratings” guy. I don’t look down on anyone with lower ratings than me, and similarly, I don’t simp for anyone with higher ratings than me. I just play to have fun, and do my best
This is just a game after all, and we can agree to disagree on the takes I put out there. They were after all considered “hot” for a reason
Kinda lost me there. Pretty sure I saw multiple sub-2700 people run into walls today (I might have been one of them )
There’s actually a lot of really fried players that attribute everything to wintrading, boosting, and botting so I understand a healthy amount of skepticism when it comes to these claims. However the pendulum often swings in the opposite direction where equally clueless players then claim none of these things exist in an effort to fit in. I know you’re being sarcastic, but I’m just clarifying because said people will read these posts and be confused.
Imo botting (not full on botting where someone doesn’t even control their character but people running various scripts to optimize performance) is very prolific at the moment. I will still only actually believe someone is doing it when they have what I consider extremely suspicious behavior such as fading/melding every cc thrown at them when it’s off cd with no history to back up that kind of performance or other very obvious tells.
I’d also like to add that the very experienced rank one players on this forum have absolutely nothing to gain by correcting anyone who brings up the existence of botting/cheating below 2700cr
We should all be THANKING them for this free service they provide the community!
Thanks guys!
That’s a great point. I’ve actually been running into some very skilled players who’ve never even been 1800 before! They gotta be this new gen’s up and comers.
It’s pretty crazy because this is also their very first xpac/season! So much talent and potential!
I really don’t think anyone is coming here trying to stamp out talk of botting/boosting/whatever to protect themselves or secure their financial windfall from WoW. There’s just a lot of people that immediately blame external factors for their problems be it in WoW or real life. I try to be as objective and level headed as possible before crying foul on someone in PvP but I have seen some very sketchy things these since DF dropped.
Happy to clear up that it’s just user error and not third party software in the majority of cases.
I think I speak for all sub 2700 xp players when I say that your advice is:
Fairly useable, competent and kindhearted. You are obviously uniquely gifted!
More of an observation, really.
