$15 a month for a 14 year old game?

Oh? Well thanks for the heads up haha.

There is a big reddit post for voting on this same thing but with some more in it already. it has around 20k votes

Lol for real. Maybe they will see people want a real MMO and not a Diablo version that cost 15$ a month plus the game price. cross server / Sharding / LFG / LFR and making all classes the same was where they went wrong. It all takes away from the social part of an MMO. Maybe they will see that in classic.

Exactly. It’s actually what I am hoping for them to see how Classic goes.

My dream idea is that they decide to do an “alternate timeline” WoW but this time with new expansions it still maintains most of the core of what made Vanilla so great without tossing in all of the QoL and other things that watered the game down.

unless classic goes really really well then that will never happen I don’t think, as much as I would like it. Just can’t see them doing so but we can always dream they will. These days there are no MMO’s that are like classic wow where the social part is there and things were not just hand me outs :disappointed:

Haha yeah hence the “dream idea” lol.

you’re getting a constantly evolving world and the world that it all spawned from. for the same price. you’re getting 2 games for the same price. my two copper

The fact you find $15 a month for Classic so abhorrent but leave no mention of paying $15 for the dumpster fire that is retail demonstrates conclusively that you’re not entitled to an opinion on the matter.

Shouldn’t you be farming Azerite power somewhere?

Then you won’t play Classic. It is simple as that.

You can buy fish tacos for $5 or Taco Bell tacos for .99 cents… .your choice.

Totally agree.

Kinda what I was trying to say, but you structured the point much better than I have lol.

I think mostly I just have been irked by this dev staff because everything they have seemed to do since WoD is for them and not for us or the game.

They are clearly without vision (and I dare to wonder if some even enjoy WoW anymore) and instead of stepping aside gracefully and letting someone with vision step in, have let this game melt with them.

That is the point I was making is that their decision process has been mostly about hiding their deficiencies since the big turn over, instead of addressing them. The sub structure is designed in that regard and thats all I pointed out. Its only logical that a Vanilla only sub be cheaper than a full sub, but they know it will compete hard with their current live because the game is in such a terrible state.

Hiding flaws instead of addressing them irks me to no end since I have an emotional attachment to this game like so many others.

I think a lot of us do.
I have such an attachment to dwarves that a while back for some reason I was having a minor panic attack, and watching the beginning of The Hobbit (Extended) actually brought me back down to calm and relaxed.

This game by far has the best and closest iteration of dwarves to my own definition of them and so it means a lot to me much less having played it since it came out when I was about 14-15.

Hey now that’s sacrilege lol

Tolkien was the beginning. He took mythology and created and set the standard for the fantasy literature world that we know today

Haha and I plan to be one of the many that continue that amazing line.

Publishing soon!

I am happily shelling out my $15.00/month.

I would pay 30 dollars a month to play this game

There are THOUSANDS of people anxious to pay whatever Blizzard wants to charge.
