Obvious troll is obvious. You're paying 15$ a month to play World of Warcraft. That's it. What iteration that is doesn't matter. I'd love if Classic was free too, but that makes no sense financially. That money goes to Blizzard not any one development team.
I also think you're wrong about the content not getting updates. If Runescape is any indication something will have to chnsge or the game will be dead. My hope is they cycle the patches from Classic to BC.

Do you have access to the spreadsheets? How much does it dent financially to run a classic server? Couldn't be that much if many have popped up.
Most people who take issue with the bundle is because they know Blizzard is doing it so they can make the waters murky about whos paying for what.
They want blizzard to clearly know they are not giving them money for current wow.
The issue is Blizard doesnt want that message from you.

Then they don't get Classic. We aren't 5 and Blizzard isn't our parents who give us what we want if we stomp our feet enough
The only people benefiting from a shared sub are people who are already playing retail, ''but you get it for free!''... wow what a logic.
You guys don't give a single F about us, you can't seem to be able to be in our shoes and understand for a minute that WE DON'T WANT RETAIL, WE DON'T WANT TO FUND IT, WE HAVEN'T DONE SO IN YEARS FOR A REASON.
How can you justify having to pay what current retail players pay for a product that wont get any new content/development. It obviously shouldn't be free but a shared sub shouldn't be the only option either. I would be happy even if it was just a single 1$ or 2$ off.
No matter the price you are funding retail so that excuse is pretty terrible. Were people really expecting the money for classic to not go to funding all blizzard products? God i hope people aren't that dumb >_<
Blizzard is a business. Like any other company any new venture needs to be paid for (No your 15 dollars a month doesn't and probably never has just payed for developing new content) and make a profit or they wouldn't be doing it. Simple as that. Doesn't matter if the product is 14 years old or 30.
This isn't a Blizzard concept this is a not going bankrupt concept.

The cost to play wow in general has and probably will always be 15 dollars a month and that money doesn't just go to development costs fyi. It costs money to run servers, pay for staff etc etc.
I would be willing to bet that most if any of that money even pays for half of developing new content nowadays.

Yeah ''pay for staff'' when they are adding loot trading and screwing over pugs up to help the ticket load/GM work. I'm so glad I get to pay full price for this, how dare we ask for a separate sub!

Good the private server community is toxic.
No server lag (regional stable servers)
Actual Customer support
No Private server admin abuse / corruption
No Stupid Deviated changes (hunters with op pets and 1.12 talents)
No language barriers (maybe not for EU, but thats aside the point)
Actual day night server population cycles (not a global server that is swarmed 24/7)
No constant gold spam (bots can/will be banned instead of pserver supported)
Functional AI scripting, no obvious game breaking bugs
No random downtime
No super toxic, ultra-min max pserver community cancer (there will be top guild but not spread as rampantly)
No cross faction collusion for resource monopolies on PvP servers(brack rotus camping, devilsaur mafia, AV resource botting...)
Nah, I'll gladly pay out that $15 a month.
If that alone means just a paywall for the mouth breather cancer players in private who refuse to pay blizzard, and a 20ms ping to the blizz servers, its already worth that sub fee and then some.

Not at all. I'll gladly pay two subs to support Blizzard. But there's no need for it.
