14k queue, ya Blizzard you're brilliant

I did explain it you imbecile

I really wish Blizzard would lock character creation for the bigger side when the population sways too far one way (except for those who already have a max level toon there). It wouldn’t fix the heavy servers right away but I for one would be willing to try a less populated PvP server if I knew it would stay balanced. As it is, Grobbulus is the only safe bet.

No you did not at all.

You have yet to point out how exactly them not adding HvH fixes a 60:40 server.

By horde quitting? is that your answer?

They are trying to address it no? With the free transfers?
Outside of forcing people off I’m not sure what they are suppose to do, they offer transfers and block character creation when things get too large as a bandaid fix. Large server queues are temporary. I’m not 100% sure what happened to Firemaw but didn’t that server become the way it did partly because they blocked characters from being made / transfered for an extended period of time?

The bigger issue at hand is that people are scared to transfer on the chance they land on a “dead server” and can’t form any groups. Which they can’t fix. They could offer incentives, but what sort of incentives do people what?
XP gain is temporary and doesn’t stop people transfering off once they hit max to a bigger server, you’d also probably find a lot of bot accounts would abuse this to get more bots faster.
Gold gain would cause all sorts of issues with transfers
More loot drops?

Would you accept Cross-realm as a solution?
People can freely transfer off server to avoid queues, World PvP can be dynamically balanced so people don’t have to find a balanced PvP server, finding groups will be easy for everyone involved.

If not, I’m curious as to why?

Setting aside the fact that Blizz manufactured this problem without anticipating the capacity servers would need to carry.
They could make the queues faction-based so that the game attempts to allocate resources equally between factions. This might help balance factions short-term by providing an incentive for the low pop faction to xfer to that server.
Let’s assume each server is at their technical limit. Maybe they could treat each server as though it is xrealm to provide more resources while maintaining each server’s integrity through partitioning. It’s even worth considering full blown xrealm until they find an actual solution to this mess.

The server didn’t need fixing. All they did when they added HvH is demoralize the already outnumbered Alliance player. Still waiting for a reason to stay on a server where open world is miserable and the one advantage you have left is taken away from you. where is it bruv?

LOL… Okay so not an actual fix… Just a fix to morality.

You know HvH did nothing you’re just a crybaby about it.

Yeah you’re just a troll or very dumb lol

That would be my response too if i made claims with absolutely zero evidence to back them up too lol

You say that yet you cannot answer a simple question. You sound like a trumper

So your point is… Ally were outnumbered 60:40. Horde were in queues for an hour, so they had nothing to do but grief alliance outside SSC / TK for honor because they were in queues for an hour.

So they added HvH so horde queues went from an hour to 2 minutes… so they could now leave the world and BGs.

Somehow you equate that to “killing Sulfuras”

Why? Because they could BG and now had honor to get pvp gear just as fast as alliance? I guess thats a point… but i shouldnt have to be the one to make it for you lol

The point is Alliance were already in a rough spot on that server being so outnumbered, why would anyone want to stay if Blizzard gives away the one tiny advantage you had over horde. my god you’re dense if you can’t understand that

Oh brother, are you defending Blizzard?

what are queues like today i was able to get in early dont plan on exiting till after raid

at 2 when I started my queue it was like 5500 and took about 2 hours to get through

You clearly don’t see things for what they are. Faction balance was never going to be achieved without direct intervention at the start via limitation on faction choice dynamics at creation in Classic Vanilla. Blizzard originally began the game with a tight grip of horde vs alliance; Warcraft: Orcs and Humans began this faction war and the attitude behind it in the community. It would not have been as dramatic a problem if there had not been racial skills, but there are and that is on Blizzard.

So getting past faction imbalance. The transfers are to servers that are dead, many people have left those servers, paying money to do so, because it takes hours to get a group. Finding a group in 2 minutes vs 10 minutes vs 30 minutes decides how much you can actually with the time you have to play.

Furthermore, there is a community to these servers that most after playing 2 expansions don’t want to leave or lose. Perhaps you have found no friends or guild that enjoy you or that you enjoy yourself, for the thousands of us waiting in queues the server we play on and have plaid on means something.

lol dude at this point guilds have chrome remote desktop required for raiding cuz of all this lmao

No queue on Myzrael, for those of you who don’t like Blizzard’s two free options. You could come here and avoid the queue.

My god you hurt my brain.

I just dont see the connection at all.

Omg horde can do BGs now i am xferring immediately

Its definitely annoying to say the least that you cant get off work and play atm. you HAVE to remote in to start the queue before hand. paying a monthly sub to a game you cant play is just a horrible business practice, especially when we have QoL changes already.
Been on Bene since vanilla, so server hopping isnt an option for people who want to continue on.
