Agreed, and I doubt Tuggboatt is such a person.
It doesnât matter the money spent. What matters is itâs a beta meant to find bugs. Who would know what is a bug you may ask? Well someone who played the game in itâs original state.
He said âsubbed for 14 yearsâ, money was never mentioned, the thing mentioned was time. In fact, the only person to mention money is you, repeatedly. Time subbed is what he said. If money is on your mind maybe you should work. OPs post has nothing to do with money.
Gâday
Yes peoples memories are so good they had to create a " stop reporting this as a bug, your memory is just faulty " list.
Guess what, Ive been playing just as long as the OP and do not think Iâm entitled to an invite because of it. Blizzard has always certain factors for giving people invites, years played is only one of them.
It appears that based on what everyone is reporting that a rather large chunk of those that did get invites played at launch. Blizzard also stated that it was going to be a small test. Not everyone is going to get in that played then, myself included.
You are upset? I love classic and talk about it constantly.
My GM got a beta invite and he has ZERO intention of touching classic at all. He hasnât even downloaded the game client or anything, its stupid.
Did you actually opt in?
You donât automatically get opted in, even if you selected world of warcraft in your beta preferences. Gotta choose classic specifically.
The day I did it, I got a beta invite a few days later. And Iâm not a streamer.
They gave your beta invite to Pokimane.
simple, because youâre not a popular dota/counter-strike/fortnite streamer.
14 years subbed and 3k achievement points? impossible
It only shows character specific achievement points.
i have over 20k, but itâs only showing 1900 or so for me.
They never said anything about spending more.
How many millions played during the vanilla era? How many opted in for beta?
How many still have active subs?
How many are you? (Hint: 1)
How many got the invite?
Odds of winning this lottery. 1 in millions.
No level of expectation changes this. Unless you are a popular streamer of course.
Many industries afford special perks to longtime customers or big spenders. Itâs a proven way to increase customer retention rates.
But I guess next time I fly Iâll block the frequent flyers/first class passengers from getting on the plane and tell them they arenât more worthy of boarding first because theyâve spent more money then me.
JOKE WARNING JOKE WARNING
But some of us would still say. meh, you are a kid so let us mature player get in.
/JOKE WARNING JOKE WARNING
Good morning though⌠Letâs have a coffee
Would you rather someone whose livelihood relies on being able to perform with all of their progress publicly broadcasted and tracked? Or someone whoâs owned a garage for 15 years?
Cool that you are 22 now and you are as arrogant and egoistic as 8 y.o. kids.
And by âcoolâ I meant totally not.
Iâm playing this game more than you, and I donât care that I didnât get beta invite. Watch and learn.
Iâve never seen anyone put an apostrophe in the word âumâ before, so kudos for that.
That being said, you donât get special privileges just because youâve been subbed. You got exactly what you paid for, game time. Iâve been paying car insurance on time for 20 years and have zero claims since I started driving, and I donât get a new car for it. You know what I get? Monthly coverage.
Neither do whiny children, so you are also SOL.
Because itâs random. The game will be out in two months. All will be ok.
Wrong! Most companies invest in loyalty programs for paying customers that have used/subscribed to, their product for a long time. Those that have shown incredible loyalty and paid consistently for years absolutely should be rewarded with beta invites.
