It seems odd that this stance was taken for Warrior’s Rend while Hunter’s Serpent Sting was tossed out the window. It seems especially disappointing that we are heading into a patch with a raid and dungeon focused on venomous serpents, but Survival, the spec that is supposed to utilize animal venom, continues with no sign or mention of Serpent Sting.
And instead of a set bonus that might offer interesting improvements to Serpent Sting like bringing back Latent Poison or allowing multiple applications to stack after using Takedown, it’s yet another bonus to Raptor Strike and WFB.
