No new exterior styles? Really?
What is Blizzard’s intended timeline for these? If not major content patches (.1, .2, etc) then is the plan to release 1/faction each expansion?
Meaning it’ll take over a decade for players to see their intended housing style represented? How is this acceptable?
Hoping to be proven wrong on this but this is beyond discouraging if true.

Thankful for the changes coming! I must admit however I was hoping level 10 would be announced, or at least another increase in decor budget for the interior and exterior.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call a “strawman argument.” It’s an intentionally falacious take to discredit an otherwise legitimate point. There’s no point arguing with someone who resorts to fallacy.

Yeah I am torn. One one hand, the thing I have wanted most is finally coming out, but on the flip side it seems to be a very limited list of additions (and yes I know the save option and pets probably were a big challenge, but still). It’s especially strange that there’s no housing levels when there’s supposed to be 4 new endeavors. I guess the idea is to collect the items, but if you’re at budget capacity then you’ll have to sacrifice something to use the new decor… Or wait until the next level bump?

You should watch the video. Renown is indeed going up. An interior decor limit of 5475 was shown in the video, which is multiple renown levels higher than what level 9 renown provides.
Also, it’s nice to see that people are still complaining wildly even when two of the most heavily requested features are being added to housing. An artist designing new exteriors will not be the same person as the software engineer who is implementing import/export and pet pathing.

I’m really hoping the 12.1 video we got was only a sneak peak. There has to be more coming for housing. They’ve previously mentioned 10 new levels per major patch, guild halls “shortly after launch” and more!
Why would we not add TROLL exteriors during the TROLL patch!? Was also hoping they’d drop the stupid faction restriction on exteriors since no other part of housing is faction exclusive.

Also, do we know if for blueprints we can save individual rooms or is it the entire interior? I only want to save certain rooms lol.
They said just a room, just exterior, just interior, or the whole thing.

Looks like some cool additions. I’m still skeptical about the pet pathing, I want to see how they interact between transitions to different rooms. I’m assuming they’ll just avoid or fall through custom floors.

I’m a little concerned about the wording for the pets. Sounds like we’ll only be able to add non combat pets and not all of the ones we’ve been collecting over the years. If that’s the case, that will be a bummer because I have a ton of pets I was hoping to add to both of my homes.

Cats are battle pets, and they showed off a Corgi which is also a battle pet. I don’t think it means non battle pets only, but I could be wrong.
I really hope there’s a way to hide the pet bed besides maybe burying it in the floor/wall. I really want to be able to put some pets “up” and it’s gonna look weird if there’s a pet bed suspended in the air.

Patience is key. Learn from this and stop making 15 threads a day re-gurgitating the same talking points over and over on how nothing is being done.
