After Wrath peaks, they know it’s gonna hit the fan. DF is back to basics to appeal to classic fans, but retail is a completely different game.

Yeah I get that. FFXIV gives you rewards based on how long you’ve been subbed. Like the first month or 2 you get a Cloud transmog outfit, really cool. They’ve been talking about taking inspiration from FFXIV, hopefully that’s one of them. Likely not though.
Look, I’m not going to read all that. I’ll break it down for you though; Anyone that payed 12 months in a row (consistent) will not get a free mount package.
Anyone that pays $135 bucks (minus the 15 for the first month) has only the package mounts to show for it until the very last month their sub kicks in, justifying the total amount.
So no, they are not free. You get nothing for those $135 bucks, for 11 months (reducing per month) EXCEPT the mounts. Not free.
So wait, ff14 gives incentives to stay subbed whether you wanna play or not = good.
Wow does the same thing and its a war crime and activision is evil monsters.
bobby yachta.
FFXIV counts month by month subs. WoW only gives you rewards if you buy in bulk. The first philosophy is built on them expecting you to keep playing. The 2nd is built on them expecting you to quit.
They only give rewards to spike investor interests.
Fel-Drake and twitch views is a great example of fluffing.
If ya aint gonna read it then why the frick are you replying?
And if it goes well enough with the Twitch Drops I imagine it will only keep going one way or another. I mean, that just be my theory anyways.
I like how he said he wasn’t going to read your post then continued on to type a post almost as lengthy as yours lol
These people get high off arguments.
I’m personally aiming to wait until Jan 1st so that my sub can renew on that day every year.
I hate having renewal dates scattered across random time-frames.
Because my argument is inherently sound and cannot be debated. Time is money. You’re not getting anything other than some package stuff for the money and the first month of active sub. You could invest that $135 bucks and it would be more valuable after 12 months than even your initial investment. You PAY for something and get nothing but mounts until the entire time period of lending has expired. Your reward is game time, but you’re not given any interest for it. You can consider the mounts interest payed, but there it is again; you PAYED for those mounts.
Ok ok “…at no extra cost.” Put away your little school book ,Braniac. ![]()
J/k around with you.
Because people are catching onto to Blizz’s bull$hit. “Lets lock you in for a year and when your unhappy with our new expansion doesn’t matter we got your money and only gave you some pixels” … No thanks not falling for that.
lol what does that mean ?
ugh you’re right. i even said that in my post and i’m still fallin for the stupid trap. Guess i’m in a fighty mood after seeing this for the last few days. Ima go like, iunno do battlegrounds or somethin >:(
The mount being “free” is definitely an illusion. They want you to think that, that’s the gotcha. The pricing is definitely specious. But the reality is they’re banking on the fact that a lot of people are actually going to be over paying because they’re going to quit before that 12 month period is up. That’s why they do it.
Sub for a month, play for 3 days.
Some do this I have seen it on my friends list get a sub play a week and never log on for months
True, iv been playing alot of classic for a month + so def get my moneys worth
