Rofl. The problme lies in your defenition of alt. If its 474 I lvl and decked out in corruption that it seems as if its just as functional as your main. An “alt” to me is a fresh 120 you use for professions or just to do silly stuff like farm tinewalking or WQs or old dungeons. The time requirement you put in to get to that level seems totally fair. Now you have 2 OP 120s.
How did it take you that long I just started playing retail again 2 days ago and went from 378 Ilvl and lvl 52 neck to 420 ilvl and 70 neck and ive done zero outside of the 8.3 intro quests and some world quests…
Got some help from friends the first 3 weeks to to get decent caches. For everything else just grinded like hell.
Was incredibly lucky with caches as well i’ll admit. Getting 3 good pieces in the span of 6 weeks isn’t exactly likely.
But yeah the mount things is basically my plan. Got AoTC and Keystone Master done. Working on the PvP mount and 2100 rating for the tmog. After that all i have left to do is spam visions, which gets old.
M:Nzoth and Glad prolly wont happen, as i’m not a core raider in my guild (cause just came back) and i dont have it in me to grind the leaderboard atm lol.
Pretty much this. I haven’t done any max level PvP since WoD. Skipped Legion and I’m skipping BfA. The grind appears to be insane, just to get the point where I could participate in a random BG.
In prior expansions, yeah there would be a step down at the beginning of each season, but you could grind conquest through randoms with an arena match or two, and get to a point where you could spend the remainder of the season contributing at least. Which was a lot of fun.
It is with 0 time invested between parch 8.1 and 2 days ago… just saying it doesn’t take 15 days played per toon to gear up… obviously reading isn’t your strong point.
