11.1 Frost Mage Feedback Thread

That is crazy; I did not even think about that. LOL. Yea, players in PvP will maybe spend 2-3 seconds in blizzard, which means each tick is going to do less than it previously did in 11.0.7 with the 40% 11.1 note updates. Shards also cannot crit, so its effective DPS is really bad. Unless they purposely stand in it to break CC for more than 8 seconds, which is also a game design flaw. In PvP, “Blizzard” was always a tool to get players out of stealth or prevent them from re-stealthing, so channeled low damage makes perfect sense from a competitive standpoint. Try finding someone hiding in shadowmeld when blizzard has a 6-second cooldown and is not channeled; you could blizzard in their general direction and never find them until Eye spawns. LOL. Channeled was not this way. It needs to be channeled like it was or back to lasting 8 seconds. Big Yikes. Retail generally feels like it is at the end of its life these days.

Just going to leave this here; hopefully one of their Frost Mage PvP developers picks it up, but I doubt they will.

Whelp, I just got new insight, boys. Even when R1s tell blizzard what should be done, they do not listen. So a lot good our feedback threads do. I am done here.

Glad I am no longer going to be ignorant about this and think anything we say here will matter. GGs.

See you on the otherside.

Another thing is that Frostbolt build does not synergize with Wintertide because soon as an icicle does damage, you lose the 4 stacks of Wintertide. Which means if you have 5 icicles and are Frostbolting, you will only ever get 1 stack of Wintertide until you dump your icicles and go again. Super bad game design. They 100% are outsourcing to the Chinese for these balance changes.

Also having to track winterstide to send glacial with 4 stacks is so bad too. Holy F! The second you send an icicle due to already being icicle capped, you will lose all 4 stacks and start from 0, decreasing your glacial damage. What?

Bro, do these guys PvP? My God.

These guys are all literal:

PIRATESOFTWARE'S

I am kidding about this. We know the WoW developers have no control of what the higher-ups want done. They could consult with rank 1s, love gaming, love hardcore gaming, and everything about it, but it won’t matter because people at the top are telling them to push the buttons. They might have a mouse or more than 1 in the house, making the game bad on purpose to kill the game from the inside as a competing gaming company by placing project managers, etc., that secretly or not-secretly work for Rockstar, etc. and such in key roles at Activision, lol. Which means WoW is dead and a new game is going to take its place soon. Do you guys not vet your employees to make sure they are not working for other gaming companies? Holy hell. I am almost positive that is what is happening, or they are outsourcing to China because its cheaper while the CEOs pockets get fatter. Holy hell.

This is crazy; we are just supposed to magically have a Flurry Proc on the go in 2s, so we can send our glacial at max power? I do not even shatter my Glacial with Flurry, I literally shatter it with pet nova or ice nova. Meaning I will never get the wintertide at a perfect 4x stack, because I already used all my flurry procs to slow the player from getting to the pillar, or to shatter my Frostbolt.

This is going to be an utter nightmare to track in PvP. Especially for those of us who do not even want to play Glacial, but rather play pure icicles or Frostbolt. You heard it all here first.

This is also very aids to test how the mechanics work due to how excess icicles work lol.

CEOs are sabotaging your game lol, gl guys, wish you luck:

It’s me again; I can’t edit my post, so I have to add another.

I have this theory that ever since Activision bought out Blizzard, they have been paying for bottom-tier developers no more than $70k/year, so its not their fault guys. That or they are paying for top talent, and the top talent just does what they are told in hopes of riding out for a promotion. Sorry for being mad at the developers; they are not the problem; its definitely a top-down problem/issue. Jeesh. They release the bare minimum, and these CEOs have found it more profitable that way to keep us confused. The CEOs have had it way too good for way too long. It could be 10 years before we see a great game, and that might only come with the assistance of AI or the complete building of a game with AI. Sigh. What a long wait!

Sorry, let me re-explain. It is not even a lack of talent, really; it is just they are told what to do. If you ask for dog water, you are going to get dog water. Lol.

The rich takeovers literally fired all the passionate developers.

I changed my mind on this theory, though I am not cancelling it completely.

Balancing WoW is 100% a top-down problem, lol.

You could have the most talented, top-paid, top-tier devs in the world and it won’t matter when those at the top are telling you what to do lol.

Big Sigh. Big Mad. Big Sad.
