11.0 hints since launch

Man that fight was cool.

It is essentially the ultimate one if you dabbled in anything wow lore at all.

Void Lords is basically the end game.

I can see you don’t want to have a discussion so have a nice night.

BTW, the whole Yrel thing is just tiresome. Give it a rest people lol

That would mean Illidan is off baby sitting duty.

Break out Illidan in case of emergency!

That theory could…work.

We need some emo psychotic elf imo. break up the group therapy get in touch with NPC feelings going on.

He is his scars, he’s accepted that. and embraced it. What wow needs imo. A major characted who is content to be messed up.

. . . . and Legion both involved the continuing, and ending, of a conflict between the Burning Legion and Azeroth that began over 10,000 years ago. The theme behind both expansions is tied to nearly every Warcraft & WoW expansion and literature in some manor (War of the Ancients trilogy - the first invasion - pretty much lays the bedrock for everything). The Legion can also be considered a participant, like Azeroth, and not a part of the order.

Um… I’ve been pretty chill lol

Void lords isn’t the end game…

SL made this very clear. The first ones and the 7th cosmic force and w/e Zovaal saw is the end game. Did you not pay attention? Didn’t you dabble?

I don’t follow yo, what’s the point you’re making here cuz I was responding to you saying people don’t enjoy cosmic expansions, which I said they do.

So you agree?

I’m saying the Legion (both expansions) is not cosmic in the way that SL was, and a Light vs Void would be. Comparing using TBC as an example is apples and oranges. You’re implying that if it is not boots (or hooves) on the ground it can only be cosmic.

The expansion after Dragonflight would’ve already been in pre-production before Shadowlands even had a solidified reaction. Expansions are developed too far out for them to really change course on the super high-level stuff like that. Whatever 11.0 will be was decided without input from Shadowlands.

True, I think I recall someplace that as a rule (at least several expansions ago) Blizzard worked about two expansions ahead in brainstorming. That would put 11.0 on the drawing board as SL crumbled mid-way. Whatever their choice may or may not be, changes can be made. Look back at everything that was supposed to be in WoD and was shredded, Wrath also had things dropped before it’s 'final release as we.

We wouldn’t be going to the light or void’s realm. Exp is taking place in karesh

Main thing for a Light vs Void expac as a precursor might be something happening to Velen to make the alt-timeline Yrel somebody Azeroth-side Light Users might listen to. Either he goes into mystery prophet’s coma or says “hey guys, I need to go check and see how Argus is healing, nobody do anything dumb while I’m gone” - And then it’s Lightbound vs. Void.

light vs void class fantasy expansion please!

last class fantasy xpac was nearly 10 years ago

I’m sure they’ll find a way to shoehorn light vs void in at end of expansion. Either that or they’ll at least shoehorn in Yrel invasion, and have it taken care of in a single patch just like they did N’zoth.

they must devote an entire expansion to yrel. we need more draneai representation in xpacs

If anything I’d expect the next expansion to have something to do with the rest of the Elemental Lords and their Elemental Plains, as we have heard about them way back when the original Molten Core came out, with Ragnaros vs Thunderaan and the Hydraxian Waterlords… We had a refresher during Firelands, and Throne of the Four Winds, later we had an additional teaser with Neptulon, but since then, nothing…

This expansion has had the Primalists, and a plethora of Elementals across the Dragon Isles in flux, so it could be in the works for a future expansion as well…

Won’t be a shoe horn.

You know all these time rifts that are happening.

Yrel will basically come in a similar fashion once Nozzy finally turns after he gets his aspect powers back.

I made a Draenei warlock last night since Time Rifts don’t work, and interestingly enough the new voice over for the original starting zone references a prophecy of Valen about a “looming war between light and shadow”. (oh and the Legion is defeated, and they dont really try to explain the whole spaceship wreck thing or why if the Legion is defeated the Night Elves still think they’re demons). The area makes honestly no sense now but I enjoyed myself anyway. Anyway, make what you will of that.

I get people like the character and stuff but the last time we saw AU Draenor, it was falling apart. Disappearing into nothing. Thanos snapped. And that was a long time ago even as far as in-game is concerned. I dunno if there’s any way time travel can bring Yrel into the fold, unless they all somehow managed to escape their little pocket dimension before it imploded.

I mean Yrel is a major character at this point. She’s a heros character and has tons of art and a avatars

Now way she’ll just vanish.

Plus the maghar npcs in org talk about the light bound threat looming, so we’re going to find out

My guess is they’re easing faction restrictions now so in the light vs void expac we can choose a side.
