Warlords of ...Wait

Take a moment, to let it sink in that all the Warlords of Draenor. Are dead. :scream:

And that Draenor and the ‘almighty’ Orcs were conquered so badly it made you wonder how Orcs got as far as they have now, -by the Lightforged Army.
(Psh please, WoW slaughters orcs now since WoD launch; like ants in a flood and made them more weak, pathetic and irrelevant than Medivh’s son was).

Anywho, anyone think that Grommash may still be alive? Or that we’ll see Alternate Draenor again? I personally liked the Laughing Skull orcs, always admired they seemed to live in harmony (Kind of) of a jungly-forest-trying-eat-you-but-hey-its-cool-we-laugh kind of area & totally chill with it (more-or-less).
Perhaps it’ll be a zone in a new expansion, or major patch? Feel free to post yours thoughts, ideas & elaborations bellow.

I think part of the reason they came off as so weak and we blew through them is because half of the content in WoD was cut short. I bet they would have extended things and did at least a little better job with telling that story.

I thought he was and joined Yrel in her Light Inquisition.

The problem with the warlords is that the heroes on our side are at a vastly higher tier than all of them save for Gul’dan and Nerzhul. If Khadgar or Thrall were in a position to 1v1 Grommash, poor Grom would be toast. Grom just wasn’t that scary because of that obvious power difference.

The alternate ones might be weak but the mannoroth real ones nearly destroyed everything. Draenai to near extinction and sieged stormwind killing variant father.

Medivh had a son?

Please no more alternate Draenors, Gul’Dan has been milked way to much.

I don’t think he’s canon. And if he is, they never use or speak of him because they know how stupid he is.

Garrosh and Grom are two different orcs.

Grom was the orc leader in the Maghar scenario.

Also keep in mind, that the forces that we sent to Draenor were by and large veterans of 30 years of conflict and war.

You have grizzled veteran Sergeants and Officers from the 2nd War. Soldiers who not only survived a Zombie Apocalypse, but also fought the Burning Legion and the Scourge head-on at Mt. Hyjal. Who have polished their skills fighting each-other, and every nasty world-ending threat imaginable.

Now, dump that Elite Core of soldiers onto an Alien Planet full of Hostiles who were slowly grinding down an entire civilization… oh yeah. Did I mention the Draenei? Not only do you have Elite Draenei fighters in your forces, but they’ve already seen and survived these battles. Moreover, they’ve had 30+ years to think over everything they would have done differently on that terrain, and they not only get to do it over again with everything they had to start with, but they also get your Army group of Elite soldiers to do it with.

The Iron Horde didn’t stand a chance.

Thank you. I recently listened to some videos about him and didn’t remember any reference to a son.

Yeah and IIRC Garona is his mother.

He’s an extremely OP character that they wisely decided to forget existed.

I know who they are. I am asking if AU Grom was the one who joined Yrel. I never did the Maghar allied race stuff.

Easy, they got infected by Azeroth. The light is bad.

No one knows.

AU Grom stays behind to fight Yrel but we don’t get to see the outcome. While it is hinted that AU Garrosh joined her previously to that event. However it wasn’t specific and could be a different character like AU Thrall is female.

My theory is that AU Grom is still alive and has been captured by the Lightforged who hilariously think they can turn him on to their cult like they did his son. Grom, being the orc with infamously unbreakable will, is going to either pretend to go along with it and then break him and his son out or just skip the pretending and jump ship with baby Hellscream.

They’ll be reunited, join up somehow with the Mag’har on azeroth and we’ll finally get both of them back in the Horde. Blizzard will not make baby Hellscream a mustache-twirling villain again and it will be extremely heartwarming to see out famous father/son heroes of the Horde get to kill Alliance together like both of them always wanted.

What if there is an orcish version of the Burning Legion out there rampaging across the cosmos as a result of all the portals opened from Outland, full of warlords we’ve never met?

The whole of WoD was in an alternate timeline. What the warlords did in the main timeline is still in place.

In fact the point of blizz taking us to the alternate timeline was to explore what could have been had the orcs not drank mannaroth’s blood.

Itnought the point of WoD was to hype the movie.

True. Without being Fel-charged he is just a garden variety Warrior, much like his son…who needed the heart of an old god and an entire cult in order to compete.

The great Vol’jin’s dead - the only Darkspear who the player base remembers - and the Darkspear have been relegated to nonexistent now that the Almighty Zandalari have arrived.

No mention of Zen’tabra, Zen’kiki, Rokhan’s bursting with potential but is relegated to voiced quest npc #3790.

You’re not one to talk smack about them orcs, lad.
