Iâm about 60/40 that tomorrows maintenance is like an internal âfix the servers and do back ground thingsâ sort of deal but I guess weâll find out.

No one knows but the blizzard peoples and theyre not playing nice and sharing lol.
This is the problem that Blizzard faces.
Thereâs websites like this: https://wago.tools/ that are directly hooked into Blizzards CDN which is where you download your game files with the client.
Every time thereâs a hotfix, patch update, etc. this website immediately scrapes every little change within seconds. Unless the data is encrypted⌠WoWhead is going to know everything in the patch within 5 minutes and make an article. Then you also have the public PTRs where you can literally just log on and test all the upcoming content in advance.
Back in the old days of WoW before PTRs and datamining was a thing: you really didnât know what was coming in a new patch. It was always a surprise.

Maintenance tomorrow is most likely just them doing the prework and setting things up for the event to go live on the 19th.
Hearthstone event starts today until 11am on the 18th. They also didnât publicly test 10.2.6 so launching it the same day as 8hr maintenance is leaving them open to a whole lot of bad press and angry customers when the servers arenât stable and the event is buggy as hell after the servers being down all day.
Theyâre also dropping Season 4 news tomorrow, so they have that and the Hearthstone event to tide us over.
Safe bet is the 19th for 10.2.6.
You expect a mount and transmog? Ha! Iâm keeping my expectations low, to a free hat that only works the day-of the event.

Ok, the patch has been live for about 30 min. que time was short. BUT, this is a MAJOR disappointment. NONE of my movement keys are working correctly. I use AWSD and when I put forward my toon moves right, backwards goes forward, etc. Iâm not a pvpâr at all and I only tried this. I donât like it and will MISS OUT on the pet/mount/tmogs. Bad design blizzard. I canât believe you people put a new game into WOW. Will you people never learn from your past mistakes?
