10.2 Solo que RBG

big true. I tried SS on my holy priest and wanted to AKF out so many time. I’m better with MW monk but even on a class that I can play I hated it. Long live BG!

That’s a lot of exaggeration and assumptions there.
First of all, there will be a rating (once the brawl becomes a rated mode). At the start of a season yes you’ll get all kinds of groups and things will be a bit chaotic but the well geared players will quickly rise in matchmaking rank over those in AH gear. We can also assume there will be a minimum pvp item level required to queue for rated, most likely full honor set.

I don’t know, on my hunter when I did Solo Shuffle it would pit me with 1800 players even though I was at zero rating.

Those hunters probably had a low matchmaking rating. But I’m just guessing.

  1. Your post suggests that you don’t even know what the law of averages is.
  2. Your post also explains precisely why my post is correct. Thanks.

I would waste my time trying to explain it like people before me but it’s pretty obvious that would be a futile .

As long as healers and tanks are balanced it should be great. Just have 1 healer be a requirement for each side and let it rip.

Pvp queue times are long enough as it is. We shouldn’t have to wait for 2 healers on each side.

Yes, you should, and you will. Queues will be fine even so, or at least a vast improvement over RSS

Why would you necro 27 days later for such a mid dps-peasant take?

It would be pretty miserable for that one healer. They’ll be the main kill target and CC target. They’ll spend a lot of time dead or unable to cast anything. That’s not a fun experience.

Blizzard is trying to improve the healing experience so healers are more likely to queue up. With two healers, one can help the other survive.

Queue time reduction is more important than that. 1 healer per team should be the only minimum requirement. Half the classes and specs in the game may as well be healers with all of the BS they have anyways.

Queue times are important, which is why they have already taken several measures to address them including changing to an 8v8 format, cross-faction teams, duo queue for healers, and faster games. Queue times will be fine. What would not be fine is the slew of negative consequences your suggestion would have on the game mode.

IMO, like I said before, that would probably result in a poor experience for healers.

1 healer getting zerged/CCed/interrupted by 6+ DPS won’t be fun. The healer will always be the #1 priority target for the other team.

The DPS on the losing team will complain about a healer diff and blame their 1 healer for the loss.

All this stuff would lead to fewer healers queuing up.

I remember the old days when DPS had to peel for their healers and not just expect them to duo heal tank everything. Maybe that was a better game back then.

DPS have had to deal with 15-20min+ queues for solo arenas for the entire expansion. Enough of this. 2v2 would have been fine, just like in skirmishes.

We don’t need 2 healers and a tank for an 8v8 BG. Its not like they should restrict it to only 1, but that should be the only requirement. If there are 2, great, but if not, its not good to have queues be too long.

Solo arenas dps to heal ratio was 2:1
Solo BG dps to heal ratio is 2.5:1 if the requirement is 2

Or, it could be 6:1 with that minimum ruleset. Making queue times very short.

They need to fix this otherwise the queues will be at the same unacceptable level as they were in dragonflight.

They will likely add a tank spot

The tank spot is optional.

FC maps will always have a tank on the team.

If no tanks are available, then it’ll be 6 DPS plus 2 healers on a non-FC map.

Healers avoid solo shuffle because its unrewarding. You only steal points from the other healer. Going 3-3 ends with zero point change or even decrease.

Arena style play is also more stressful, especially solo shuffle where one death means the round is over.

Rbgs alleviate both issues.
