10.2 is the end

I figured that was confirmed when they announced that the Fyrakk dragon appearance is the AotC reward for this expac, and the raid is the last raid of the expac.

And I’d rather not have it rushed like 10.0 was. I’m like this as I don’t want game launches to be beta quality.

Dragonflight suffered from being front loaded with premature patch releases so pardon if I have doubts on readiness.

lucky me all I have been doing in Dragonflight is rolling alts and ending up with several of the same classes so I guess I’ll spend the end of Dragonflight actually playing Dragonflight.

If I’m not mistaken, the Legion version (repurposed fel focuser) was purchased from the vendor on Broken Shores, which was before Argus patch.

Lightforged Augment Rune was added in patch 7.3.

I participate in almost ever aspect of the end game and I never felt live Dragonflight was broken. What are you speaking towards? I don’t do a lot of outdoor content, that’s the only pillar I’m not interested in.

it was on the vindicaar

Lightforged Augment Rune

Ah, yeah, that one came after the fel focuser

They also applied differently.

Repurposed Fel Focuser and Lightforged Augment Rune both stacked.

Repurposed Fel Focuser counted as a battle elixir while lightforged augment rune counted as an augment rune.

You can still use the fel focuser, too.

yes… :cat2:

I’m really hoping that they’re going to continue the trend of doing stuff differently and actually make a 10.3. If we have to suffer through another fated lots of people will just quit.

My money is down on the expac officially ending in a 10.2.5 patch.

I just want 11 to be out when it’s ready. Not when someone in corporate needs to show shareholders something.

Every single non-indie entertainment item you can see operates on shareholder interest above all else, best of luck.

People having “fun” with games is just a useful byproduct of successful cash extraction systems and marketing strategies nowadays.

Imagine if corporate went after long term profits instead of short term quarterlies.

This short term quaterly chasing I fear is why 10.0/10.1 and their point patches came out so quickly. To front load panic hold up numbers for shareholders without regards for longer term.

Pretty sure they’d melt on the spot, Raiders of the Lost Ark style.

So, the build up with Iridikron only to make Fyrakk they end boss of the expansion. Then save Iridikron so they can build another expansion around him as the next final boss.

That just a lazy attempt to drag out another expansion to finally kill a enemy that been built up. Are these expansion making so little revenue now that Blizzard needs to keep releasing the next to make money from early sales?

Then they will just have an empty wait before the next expansion, and be given old content back in fated Raids and old M+ dungeons to keep players from unsubbing. Is this what happens when a company has just given up on one of their properties?
