10.1 shows that Blizzard is still out of touch

I think Korthia was 8 months wait but whos counting

Umm
y’all defend Legion and it did exactly this on a consistent basis.

Let’s check out some of your points.

Crafting did get updated with S2 recipes and the S2 upgrade track, a pivot to how you upgrade crafted items in S2, as well as QoL and UI updates leading up to 10.1; that promise was delivered on.

The ZM and Mechagon style of world content has consistently been the most popular style among world content players. The few times WoW has ever deviated from it, we have instantly heard “if only this were like Timeless Isles” en masse. That said, the world content isn’t JUST rares, but often little things here and there for some small end upgrades, mounts, cosmetics and other things world content players generally enjoy. While not to your preference, this was delivered upon.

Dragon riding got 8 new glyphs and a new ground upgrade and enhancement. This was an update to dragon riding, much in line with the first such update. While it sounds like you want something meatier, this was delivered upon in a way consistent with the first update.

Gearing really isn’t convoluted noe complicated with the new system. How does it work? Each item gets assigned an upgrade track based on it’s item level when dropped or created. You upgrade these to ilvls in their track by doing content of appropriate level. And really, that’s all the average player needs to know. Not the average player? Then you’re already expected to be referencing guides and such, and guides cover this well. Just lazy? In that case, just spam 11s/heroic for the second highest upgrade track, or 17s/mythic for the highest. Basically, just keep playing at the level you’re capable of playing, and you’ll get upgraded relative to that point! That’s roughly four different two sentences way to describe the new system without needing to care about complexity or such! As for the new zone, this new system is also better solving an issue world gear progression has had for awhile, while everyone else basically gets improved rate, speed of upgrades, or upgrade quality. In order for this system to be a negative for a player, such a player basically needs to be a top 5% player who is regularly active and was already dumping valor immediately; and such a player was rare, if they much existed.

While Underrot is certainly a lesser loved dungeon, Freehold and Vortex are fan favorites, and often considered to be among the best in their respective expacs. They also have a good dungeon flow, even before the M+ glow up, don’t judge them too harshly quite yet!

To address the megadungeon claim, Mechagon didn’t come out until the 8.2 patch! Roughly a full year after BFA launch. Tezavesh came out roughly 8 months after SL launch, which is roughly when we expect to see the DF Megadungeon based on the road map. In SL terms, this would be akin to getting both Korthia AND the Sanctum raid AND the new M+ season roughly 3 months earlier than the 9.1 patch.

Devoid of conflict? Idk what game you been playin’.

You’re complaing before the season even starts?? Yeah you’ve been checked out and would probably be better for everyone if you just moved on. I never understood why people treat wow like an abusive relationship. Just stop paying and complaing on wow threads it will save you your sanity

Hate to break it to you, but the raiding world first rush is what drives a good chunk of token sells. It generates a lot of revenue for blizz.

Game is great. Best expansion since Wotlk. Some of the classes/talents need work.

I mean you’re free to have low standards. That’s entirely your business; however you want to cope with justifying your subscription, you go and do that. Post history of yours speaks volumes.

At the end of the day, the state of the game currently the fault of management at Blizzard, and not at all with the developers. That’s pretty clear.

Yeh not really the best expansion, from my point of view they can make it to much better but it feels like they are burnt out? Or its just the games director not even knowing what he is doing

Ps when you have wings, eveyone expects it to FLY
 not glide

But blizzard
 sigh

Funny how he’s complaining about the story while at the same time demonstrating he doesn’t even know what happened. He called the Incarnates world ending, when a big part of story was trying to prevent Fryakk (not sure if spelled right) from becoming a threat lol

Not unlike the OP, judging the patch before it’s all released

Thanks for your thoughts, Ion.

well it was a decent start getting out of 2 bad expansions and i guess people thought it’ll get a bit better but now its going to crap again. blizzard desperately needs to listen to their playerbase. start emailing these polls/surveys so even those ingame can have a say. dont use the forums for anything for the love of god, especially when people can alt switch likes 600 times.

There’s a campaign quest where you literally have to click on poor little mole bodies with grayed out names
.

Until they give an indication that they’re doing that, there isn’t any reason to expect anything to be different. Sending that poll out to everyone would at least show a greater attempt.

Glad you remember me :kissing_heart: Sorry, I forgot to fill out a medical report and file it with Blizz for each key I left.

DF devs like rares because they are easy and cheap to design, and force players to group up.

The purpose of having multiple tiers of currency is to keep casual and solo players in their lane with no possible way of progressing higher. There is still no universal PvE currency or vendor, like the Valor of old.

They also serve to make Dragonriding more complex and reward only the skilled, when Dragonriding needs to be made more accessible. Vigor should recharge faster when you are on the ground, for example.

Korthia was designed with limited resources, but was a great one-stop for gear and daily content for open world players.

Zaralek Cavern is still dropping inferior gear to Forbidden Reach. It is a regression. World quests and events are awarding tiny amounts of rep.

I’d be shocked if this patch ends up even remotely playable tomorrow. They’ve been losing tons of experience every month for the past few months. Activision are genuinely evil idiots.

No, this is false on all 3 counts.

Return to Kara came out in patch 7.1 and was the focus of that patch. I mean the name of the patch was literally, “Patch 7.1: Return to Karazhan”

Operation Mechagon came out with Eternal Palace, two weeks after 8.2 dropped.

Likewise Tazavesh came out at the same time as SoD in patch 9.1

My bad, but its not like we haven’t known since December that the mega dungeon wasn’t coming in the .1 patch. But we’re just now having an issue with it.

Well, considering they did a poll in the forum knowing full well the alts can vote ,yeah their out of touch with reality.

Are you sure you actually played through the story quests?

The mole people town being burned out and the ends justify the means buildup for the black drafonflight is devoid of conflict?
