The faction was as a major focus deserves to be gone. It should never be gone entirely, but the game should focus on bringing players together and cultivating a healthy player base more so than steering around lore 98% of the player base outright ignores for the optimal choices while 2% feverously defends out of inane patriotism to a made up empire.
Like most things fluff, it should accent the game, not be a detriment to the core mechanics.
Also a small part of me just like to see faction purists cry. Heck, most of them donât even know the lore any way and just have their own head canons so no loss.
I feel stupid about it and I KNOW Iâm being stupid about it and Iâm even more frustrated with myself that Iâm being stupid about it but that datamined bigger dracthyr boss model has somehow sucked out all of the enthusiasm I had for both upcoming patches. Why am I like this? Ugh.
Micah, you know that people are not one big hivemind and people have asked for this option for a while now(including myself). More so since the Dracthyr have it. This is a quality of life update for people who do not want to be a worgen 100% of the time. We have two forms for a reason.
It doesnât, really. I donât want people to be miserable or anything.
I think Iâm just in another rut at the moment and it always takes me an atrociously long time to shake out of one of them. Iâm stuck between being embarrassed for myself for it being triggered over a god damned pixel dragon of all things, and knowing that stewing just prolongs my frustration, but one way or another I know Iâm going to be annoying for a while and Iâm just stuck with it.
And Genn, the leader of the worgens, spends most of him time in human form(mostly because he isnt fighting, only changing when he is fighting). Heck, just look, Genn of all people is proud of BOTH his forms:
So if anyone is an inspiration of this new racial, it would be him.
Its always ones of those funny days when I end up agreeing with you as oppose to say Micah. Oh well, DF seems to have that effect. Side note, there was clearly a demand for it:
Considering how the Vyranoth is the one who will be decoding the Map Iâm sure that Iridikron will backstab her once she realizes that the Sundered Flame is spying on her.
End result: She defects to our side.
Incidentally the difference between Shadow, Fire and Shadowflame:
According to the Journal what happened was that in the process of creating the Shadowflame only two Elementals survived the procedure: One of Fire and one of Shadow and both team up to create a Shadowflame Elemental.
The new appearance of Shadowflame(first seen in the Kilâjaeden Boss Fight in Legion) reminds me of how KH approached Dark Firaga: First it was Pure Darkness looking like Fire(just like the Shadow Elemental) in regards to how Riku used it but when Vanitas used it it was Fire with Darkness mixed into it thus looking drastically different(just like the Shadowflame Elemental).
Yeah lorewise thereâs probably tons of Worgen who transform back right after combat. As well as Worgen who stay that way all the time. I really donât see the issue with having that as an option, itâs been requested since they were released.
