100k dislikes suddenly removed from Diablo Trailer on Youtube?

Wow. They sure are.

I have had that page up for 2 days. It was up to 317k. Now down to 226k.

Zero integrity shown by Blizz.
It's the Russian bots reeeeeeeeeeeee

...

No Last night and earlier today there were some well thought out comments why this will bite the company in the backside there was nothing rude in the comments or anything hurtful just how the game is not even welcomed by the chinese either who hate Netease as well Now those post are gone and they were heavily up voted.

Yes because sowing discord, being negative without any basis, spreading falsehoods without corroborating evidence seems appropriate.

Nobody has played the full game, yet everyone seems to know how it will perform.

God forbid Blizzard try to expand their brand into other markets, I will certainly take the word of internet trolls over an established game development company with over 20 years of game development, makes sense.

Dude... I am not even a Diablo fan...

It's a freaking mobile... Why you think he has to respond to "is mobile a dirty word?"

It's like seeing a sports channel turn into a cooking channel. Entirely different market.

The Diablo forums are that way. *points*

Not everyone is able to post in the Diablo forums. So they will post in the GD here instead.

I may not play Diablo anymore but I'm still pissed at this diablo rip off mobile game bliz is making.

I have literally never heard of this even being a possibility. I was expecting them to just turn off the rating altogether, but how do you actually delete 100K dislikes?

Youtube regularly deletes comments considered spam and dislikes/likes from sources they believe to be bots. It's very possible some real people got caught in the crossfire, but it exists.

Also worth noting in the youtube comments section people are complaining about deleted comments

AGain Youtube auto-flagging as spam. Notice that the comment saying it was the 'second time removed' has returned, as well as the OG one from that red pill shark guy, even though he posted that like 15+ times.

Because spam takes a long time for the system to sort though and then spamming the same comment over and over again doesn't help the system at all.

the fact that all those dislikes disappeared changes nothing, those were still votes (legit or not) that were suddenly erased.

Bots are always removed on popular videos. This is legit not an issue at all, very common practice on Youtube.

Greed is a terrible thing and the company has it bad.

Not just greed--if they really are paying to have dislikes removed, they have an incompetent team of PR and damage control personnel. They're delusional if they believe people wouldn't notice or voice it--and if they actually knew their player bases, they'd know we're some of the loudest in the entire video game community. Ultimately, their deletion of comments and removal of dislikes will only backfire and draw even more contempt for their business practices. I've watched other developers fall from grace, but this is probably the most cringeworthy succession of events on the way down.

Blizzard is in full-fledged damage control mode. There are game articles calling Diablo gamers "entitled a$$es", "the vocal minority", "edgelords", etc:

Disgusting.

"Diablo Immortal blowback gives Mashable a new chance to look like the fools they are."

But sure, attack the players / customers. That worked so well for Disney's Star Wars too.

Exactly. I never played Diablo, but seeing that the company can take one of their most well-known flagships and sink it by throwing it on land just baffles me.
you know it is bad when Heels vs Babyface makes a emergency video about the change of votes

Get woke. . . go broke.
Blizz Dev: "We hear you, and we have several more Diablo projects under development."

Me: "Then you should have come here prepared to announce one of those other projects as well. Did you not witness the reaction Command & Conquer mobile received!?!"

Mrrggll commented about it directly on the video.
It’s bots or fake accounts guys. People use bots to dislike/downvote crap they dislike all the time, it’s not hard to do.
BLIZZARD AND YOUTUBE REMOVED 100K DISLIKES FROM THE ORIGINAL TRAILER AND OTHER VIDEOS TOO,

THEY ARE ALTERING VIEW COUNTERS.

RISE UP AGAINST CENSORSHIP!!!!

I didnt know you could pay on youtube to remove downvotes... is this real life? How is this the world we are entering?

Hmmm this morning the diablo trailer had 9.7k likes and 313k dislikes... now suddenly its dropped to 200k?

The top comment was reposted 15 times with over 4k likes within 40 minutes each time... now suddenly can't post anymore.

Blizz in damage control mode? Thoughts?

Leftists thinking they can make a terrible game and not suffer consequences because they are PC.

Blizzard is imploding. Kinda fun to watch, like a slow moving train careening uncontrollably towards a cliff.

I think you need to get out your mother's basement more often. The game is failing because of a multitude of more important reasons then that stupid idea.

I love it when a company finally realizes just how badly they !@#$ the bed, when their fans revolt and give them the finger over their mistake.

Blizzard is going to blame the players, though, just watch. "Toxic gamers attack poor widdle Blizzard" is going to be the "news" for this travesty.

Huh. Why does the media have to be so predictable?

Pure gold here!
This is disgustingly depressing. Blizzard is awful at handling criticism. This takes me back to one day with my 5 year old son. I scolded him for spreading dog poop all over the walls. You know what he did? Stuck his thumbs in his ears and screamed "LALALA~"

Boy, I wonder why I'm thinking about that.
11/03/2018 05:15 PMPosted by Zeropointt
Yup. I saw it too. They’re shutting down criticism. This is the new Blizzard.

Maybe mark zuckberg bought blizzard.
