You truly don’t play FF. Flirting is cooked into the game.
So there is a flirt emote?
Like I said it cooked in, part of the stories. No emote needed. Its also big business on the side.
Not really because your toon in FF 14 can be all classes, so you actually have like 24 specs.
For example, I am currently leveling a DK. All specs have literally 2 buttons to press at level 17. So I play a level and I am bored, I change specs after one level because It is always the same 2 buttons, but the other specs from level 18 to 19 also only have 2 buttons, so level 19 I go to my third specs because I am still bored.
If it was only leveling that would be good, but some specs ( DH ) have a rotation of around 4 buttons even at endgame….
So what you are saying is that FF14 couldn’t remove the things Blizz did because they don’t exist in that game
Which is what I said. Glad we can agree
It exist, just not in a emote. I don’t agree,
Nikolo believes you need a emote/exact same. He doesn’t get its still there just not /flurt
I am not worried. Sad we can’t have fun things in wow now. Fun is so problematic.
No.
Having faction/race/class distinctions adds complexity, variety and flavor to the game.
Yes, certainly adds a lot of flavour spending 45 minutes sitting in town waiting for a tank because no one in your group can switch to one, exactly the type of game I want to play !
I just wish SV could use animal companion, or for BM to be able to use a polearm/two handed weapon… also swappable pet specs would be nice…
Blizz can’t even get most the classes we have now right. And when the community as a majority don’t like a spec ( survival hunters ) they legit almost get completely forgotten. I rather they make all classes feel like back in mop / wod, where almost every spec was amazing
New Classes
Activist : 2 DPS specs one Tank . Outraged and Extremely Outraged (DPS ) Offended by ALL (Tank)
Cultural Awareness Advisor No spec info at this time
What a weird thought.
I get bored of FFXIV almost instantly after doing the opening MSQ of a given expansion because the game has nothing between spamming Heroic Dungeons and Mythic Raiding @ endgame.
WoW also has more classes than FFXIV, because specs in this game ARE classes, while FFXIV classes are static with no specs/customization.
The customization in this game is a falsehood though. There’s only 1 talent you pick out of the three per row and some specs that you say are classes don’t even feel like classes. What’s the point of giving all these choices if only 1 of them is going to be used 99% of the time. I like that we have talents, but they really need to spice them up. All the choices are so boring and bland. Some need to be outright baked into the base toolkit. Like echo of the elements for shaman for example. Nobody should have to choose between having two charges of something or a cool spell. They can just do both. I understand button bloat, but it that sense then, they can upgrade the spells like in 14. As a mage, I wanna see a huge fireball or a chunk of ice at max level, not some itty bitty spell that looks like it won’t do anything.
I’ve said it before I’ll say it again.
10.0 new class is the Tinker. It has the highest priority out of any possibility class given SL failed to give us DR or necro
It’s not classes. It’s balance.
What’s the use many classes but unplayable due to being bottom of the meters ?
Let my gnome hunter have a Gunfu spec. He would be dueling two hand guns and be a mix of monk and hunter. With a pet.
A lot of this isn’t really necessary. If you switch to a different job in FFXIV you still need to level that job, then gear it. WoW recreates the concept of being able to play all class and race combination through rapid levelling of new toons. This isn’t totally equivalent since there are a number of features, like reputations and garrison-style content, that does not apply account-wide. Also, since gearing in SL has had many roadblocks, like legendaries and conduits (why did they ever decide to recreate the awful early Legion legendary system that was very unpopular until they added in a vendor in a later patch? why waste time creating dozens of legendaries when the players will quickly settle on the two or three that are actually worth using?), alt gearing has been quite troublesome and has dissuaded players from bouncing around to different playstyles.
I mean… yeah, this. I like FF14 classes, they all play well and are generally very well balanced, so I don’t mean this as a beef against it or anything but… Each FF14 class is one thing. Each WoW class is on average 3 things. Technically speaking WoW has waaaaay more classes.
That said WoW could still do better, particularly in disparity of new classes. Of all the new classes we have had 2 leather and 1 plate, no mail (despite mail having only 2 classes) or cloth. We’ve had 4 new melee dps specs, 5 if we count Survival Hunter, 3 new Tank specs, and 1 new Healer spec. And again, if we count Survival, one less Ranged DPS spec.
