-10 % healing in BG's

Fixed that for you

Ironically still holds more weight than any bg elite

And not a %based title or even a Legend to show for it.

Congrats on ur bg titles man glad you one upped me. Still doesn’t change the fact that the person I originally responded to doesn’t play the game and constantly attacks people on the forums/runs to tattle in the customer support section.

Wait that’s crazy. I didn’t check pvp this guy. He is barely above me in rankings trying to punch down lmao. The way he talked i thought he was like .1% gladiator. Lmaooooo I’m a hard stuck duelist on the high end since shadowlands s1 and i don’t even take rated seriously and awful at rated play.

I don’t know him. Or you. I am familiar with the goofy Druid you were seemingly defending for some reason though.

Rating should only matter if it’s part of someone’s argument.

For example if someone says “As a rank 1 player I can tell you that’s wrong.” If they are, in fact, NOT a rank 1 player then that calls into question the rest of their argument because they are basing their argument on a lie.

“Here’s why I think you are wrong
” Their rating doesn’t matter. They could have 0 rating and be right, or 5000 rating and be wrong.

Unless someone is making a claim about how good they themselves are at PvP, or they are making a claim about themselves and their accomplishments, rating, honor level, battlegrounds played etc don’t matter.

Focus on someone’s arguments and less on trying to gatekeep their opinions because their number isn’t as high as you think it should be.

I agree with 95% of this.

However, there are definitely people that speak about certain topics without even the slightest basis for it. When someone says, “Disc Priest is too strong.” or “TSG is really easy.” or “Rogues are way harder to play than boomkins”
The ratings of this person may indicate a lot.

It’s a lot like arm chair quarterbacking. If you’ve never thrown a football 40 times in a row at a moving target at 30-150 feet while several 300 pound men try to crush your face, maybe you should be quiet about how easy it is.

Ratings don’t change facts.

Ratings can’t influence subjective commentary about balance, quality of life, ease of play and the state of a meta.

Oh, nevermind. I’m at 1300 in solo shuffle. Please disregard.

Your examples (other than the football) are topics where someone’s opinion not only doesn’t gain supreme validation from rating, additionally the subject topic doesn’t matter much longer than a season. Tuning and rotational complexity are changed pretty often, so we shouldn’t care if someone has an opinion on rogue vs boomkin, and Disc priest isn’t a problem for me to kill and enough people on here think I’m bad, so killing Disc by proxy must be a cake walk for them, if we are to conclude that those calling people bad, are in fact good.

Issues in the game that are nearly universally understood by the player base require attention and should be looked into and often are (10.0.7 Ret hot fixed nerfed in 3 days then hit with nerfs every week for 5 weeks straight). Like Holy Priest getting loads of buffs to bring up participation, I don’t feel Holy P is better than it should be now, they still die and thier teammates die, but if it became a problem more adjustments would follow. MWs are no longer teliporting with the flag or crossing a BG in 20 seconds, many issues have been fixed.

If we (regardless of rating) can focus on what does need attention, more corrections that should happen will.

So I have tried a few games and here are my generalized thoughts on the matter.

It is hardly a noticeable difference as many have pointed out various healers have acquired flat buffs to a plethora of their healing spells giving them more healing overall which has kinda blanketed over the issue of doing less healing in Blitz and other types of similar content. I am glad to say I am hardly noticing a difference in how I preform and I would highly doubt anyone would ‘riot’ over this, of course this is just a sample of two blitz games for which I was able to win both. That is not to say it could be felt more generally or at higher level play ^.^

It feels a lot different to heal in epics after the nerf. Mana is a problem for most healers now. Being less powerful you are forced to use other more expensive spells so long drawn out fights are less common as healers run dry. I’m finding myself having to run and reload more often. It changes a lot of intangibles like positioning and crowd control use also.

Youre a liar. This nerf doesnt affect unrated btw.

It shouldn’t.

Does anyone feel a difference with this change?

I’m really feeling the nerf on my disc priest in RBGS, it’s significantly harder to keep my team alive, especially with a warrior applying 25% healing reduction, and then group leader blaming the healers it’s just not fun.

I didn’t notice any change. Good healers are also still impossible to kill.

I had actually forgotten about this.

Healers should go OOM, healing unstop indefinitely is a cringe meta

that’s because they buffed like all the healers to compensate for it except what was OP at the time like disc.

I think they should nerf healing by 10% more in blitz just so we can have less drawn out fights.

mistweaver is also by far the strongest healer in blitz and is even the best healer in arenas right now, no idea how everybody isn’t complaining about this spec right now. maybe cause people suck at it

Personal opinion, but I think a lot of people just don’t know what’s going on these days. I don’t see MW output being any more of an issue than any other healer, but MW PvP talents are absurd at this point.

Peaceweaver is busted and like Searing Glare, makes the game flat out unenjoyable at times. Stack a few of those CDs on the opener and you’re mitigating an insane amount of damage. 10x more than anything grounding would ever accomplish. It’s stuff like this that has made healers pretty dumb. Well, that and the lack of casting. Even on my disc, it took a whole 2 weeks to get 2.4 without much practice. Every CD is big. That said, the game is all feast and famine. While healing is absurd, at the same time CC can be absurd as well. Game just has too much of everything now.

It’s like, of course healers aren’t going oom when you have something like
3 rets on your team like I did the other night. Spell bop, loh, bubble, and so on. I don’t want a pruning like WoD, but we’re going to need it.
