1.12 Melee Cleave and Aoe Meta

I’m confused. Are you saying you’d be less bored if pulls were taken one at a time, mobs were CCd, and no one is ever in the slightest danger? Because I’ll be honest, I had way more fun with the AOE groups willing to live life on the razor edge of almost-wiping.

Is there a reason you feel there is zero middle ground between snail paced single pulls and GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO speedfreak aoe spam where looking away from my keyboard for 3 seconds to grab a bottle of water results in someone dying or someone complaining about pacing?

because the difference between both is wether or not the tank have aggro on them. it’s binary.

IE either you have few mob and all of them are on the tank ( boring, snail pace), or there’s a large enough pull and you have to rely on kiting (minus 2-3 mob on the tank, maybe).

there’s no middle ground… atleast, when properly done.
