I don’t know why you’re thinking it’s weird. I started playing at the start of MoP. The same offensive syllables that were there then are there now, the same syllables they could have filtered out in a few hours’ time sometime between now and then. And the solution is…to remove the randomizer tool and force players to construct nonsensical names?
Oh, I get it. They can buy name changes later. Good thinking helping blizzard come up with more service sales.

Maybe it’s your wording, but I can’t tell if you are being rhetorical or if you are creating a straw man to have an internet argument with. I didn’t state that I was for or against this change, if that’s what you’re implying.
