Sure thing that it took development time and so on, but Honestly there should be some reward for being a longtime owner of warcraft 3, without the community this game would have never been remastered. You could argue the remaster is the treat, but i think a discount for players owning the game for 10+ years would be in order.

Real talk? I think people who owned the original version should get a special avatar for the chat forums. I pre-ordered this THE SECOND I heard about it. I love this game from the bottom to the top of my heart. Literally my only reason to live levels of love for this game.

Well, it’s just 30 bucks. People pay more for DLCs. Also, considering that I must have at least several hundreds hours of gameplay with the Classic, I’m sure it will be worth the money.

Ummmmm, I want to play reforged, but i also want to play warcraft 3 right now to get ready. Where can we find the current version of the game, because it says page not found when i go to look for it. Is the current vesion included in reforged?

Yeah I’ve had wc3 attached to my account for a few years now. I hope we don’t have to buy this again (but I would be willing to shell out the extra for that meat wagon mount lol)

Weird, I have a digital copy and I can still download the digital client from my account management page.
Go to https://us.battle.net/account/management/ and log in if it requires you to log in. At the very bottom, under the category “Classic Games” it should have Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne if you bought both, or just Reign of Chaos if you only purchased the base game (War3 Battle Chest included both). If I recall correctly, you could register your physical CD-ROM license key and they gave you access to a digital copy with a digital key to go with it.

I played Warcraft, Warcraft 2 and Warcraft 3…and still don’t think I should get special treatment. Seriously. I got so much more than my money’s worth out of all the Warcraft games (though not all the WoW expansions…cata, BFA, I’m looking at you) that I have no issues with paying a small sum for the work Blizz have put into upgrading this, with the hope that it will create a healthy multiplayer community.
