Why is it impossible to level up on ladder

It wasn’t like this before years ago. When you won you would get XP, if you lost you would lose some but not like this. I think this season after hundreds of games I peaked at level 8 and now I’m level 0 since you get punished so much for losing. One streak of Ls from leavers or bad games and I don’t progress on the ladder at all.

Like I get it I’m not as good as I was at one time (~45% WR wholly on 4s RT where I’ll leave if there’s a leaver) but this is crazy lol. I literally just play for icons now.

yeah this is because bots, they ruin games. they leave the game and make you lose or play fiercely and win against 1vs1.

Statistically, people will get the so called bots on both their team and their opponent’s team, effectively evening wins and losses out. People don’t seem to be able to grasp that.
