Yeah, I’ve been avoiding commenting on it like that cause Tri’s gonna 100% flame me for it. It’s just the main reason I get upset when people say, “Just give it more time.” Or, “You’ll find out when it’s out.” Like that’s not a good business plan, and I want to be able to hype this game up to my friends to convince them to buy it with me. None of that happens if they’re gonna be Debbie-Downers to their own game.

No news is bad news.

Remember back in Blizzcon we were expecting beta by this time of the year… instead we’ve gotten 0 updates since Blizzcon. Be prepared for some major disappointment.

No, Pete Stilwell explicitely said that he was hoping to release a big patch in February or somewhere during spring, and that he was hoping to provide a beta in early 2019. That’s pretty vague. I suppose it will arrive soon now, but remember he wasn’t making an official annoucement, he just said he was hoping to provide those things, that’s very different.

No update about Reforged since Blizzcon, but we got a few patches (last one 2 months ago). Even if it’s not what you were expecting, it’s not as bad as you make it sound.

I totally agree on that. Some news, even minor news, would be more than welcome and would appease the most impatient of us. Blizzard has not done a great job in community management so far.

However, this is no excuse for bad and immature behaviour such as what can be seen daily in these forums. Even if CGT could - and should - do better in communicating doesn’t mean people should spam the forums, troll, beg constantly for news or pester the devs. Sometimes it looks like a playground full of out-of-control kids without adult supervision.

To be fair I check out a lot of different places for WC3 and reforged news. This is the only place I see begging. But that could be because the other places are less Reforged focused, and have less invested interest too.

But this forum is hardly the only place I go to, so this ‘radio silence’ is actually not that bad considering they are fairly active on discord talking about back-end stuff.

Erm mostly(less or more) i agree about many things you said.
But i yell since blizzcon for sub-forums.
Then we got poor subforums.
Delete “General discussion” its usless, put all super nice categories like Art and Campagn,Tools etc,and rename general to “Other”.
THEN WE CAN TALK ABOUT COMMUNITY :smiley:
This game is not free, so go ahead guys and spam, its not your fault you love this game and you express it in many weird ways even the most toxic guys love it.
WE ALL LOVE THIS GAME AND ITS NOT OUR FAULT THEY DIDNT ORGANISE THINGS WELL !
Also you cant force people to “behave” in system that creates only anarchy and not order,and to respect only artificial inteligent code of conduct “automatic ban system” aka flag me blizz patriot

Guys chill. I am praying for specific date and you know its next week tuesday. I love this game.
Anyway, yourarthas is the leader of HD mod and participate in all HDmods,i am just ground texture menager and pr and also participate in all mods.
Kantarion account is banned to 3019 year february its impossible to login,(cant even remember paswoord on other accounts) so i hope YOURARTHAS get beta invite.

Now that I think of it, modders hate when people beg about the release date. But at the same time, modders don’t go five months straight without saying anything at all… aside from things that have been said, that is.
