Would like to see more communication at all.
Only its not the same game from 18 years ago. They took out game content. And censored out content. Thereâs glitches and bugs that never existed in the originals.
People WANTED new things. People wanted the skins, the updated cutscenes, the updated visuals, etc. They wanted the new UI, even new balancing that made the game better. The only thing people didnât want, was changes to the story and retcons made to the story.

Gee, thanks Blizz, I was playing campaign on hard mode (which takes a LONG time) doing one of the hardest levels, I finally made it close to the end then needed to go out. Now I have to play that level all over again, because you gave NO warning about this update coming so now I cant continue that save file.
Can you do ANYTHING right, blizzard? Even when you do release an update, you STILL mess things up and casue discontent.
EDIT: wait, YOU CAN JUST USE CHEATS TO GET THE PORTRAITS??? SRSLY!! XD XD Omg blizz screws up so bad that even after you witness the screw up, you learn that there are even more layers to that screwup!

This ^ . I feel Iâm in similar situation. I need better match making to get back into the game, multiplayer 1v1 wise. My knowledge base definitely >> than my mechanics. So I typically win easily against a complete newbie with superior knowledge / understanding of build orders/ general meta game or lose on sheer micro to a more sharp opponent. Iâd be willing to take my lumps to an extent but the current match making doesnât produce enough competitive 50/50 or even 40/60 games at this time.

I know it wasnât completely seamless or without bugs on release. But how come Starcraft Remastered went so much better?
On release day? It wasnât all that much better. It had its own firestorm of the same rhetoric that WC3R has been having.
The real difference was how much more interactive the SC team was with the community. They were WAY better with the communication.

always thought diversity hiring could be one of the reasons quality has gone downhill for blizzard

I personally love the game and not upset one bit Iâm enjoying the hell out of it. Just want profiles and rankings back donât care about the tourneys so much since there are so many available through community⌠thanks for the info.

But if they added rankings at launch, it would of create an even bigger problem, and ⌠for fair reasons. Because launch bugs, connection issues, optimization , etc , would of make players go âcrazyâ on the forums. Yes I know, is basically the old game, but with new animations, graphics, coding , etc , you can never (re)release a game without bugs. And so they took the decision to wait for Rankings ( as they did with SC: Remastered ) until they have more data about playerâs computers, errors, etc, and then going on and fix them and after things are pretty solid, Rankings will come.
Profiles without Rankings, are pretty much useless, so itâs ⌠kinda understandable why they will come ⌠together.
All in all , there are some things which should of been fixed or better communicated before launch, thatâs true!
Now all we can do is wait!

Wrong. They had a basic MMR points based ladder on release, then a year later they got a complete ladder overhaul. But it did launch with ladder.

Good patch. I now have to disable ambient sounds because the cicadas are louder than anything else in the game.

It seems increasing the MMR cap above 3,000 would be beneficial. I know from streamers watching there is a big variation in caliber of players at or near 3,000 cap.

Youâd have a point if this happened to everybody. But since itâs working for the vast, vast majority, itâs something up on your end, not because of what blizzard did.

I wish you were allowed guys to communicate your plans and internal struggles more. With such a small team you have for the Reforged, I appreciate even such a small patch very much. Keep up
