Cannot complete the last level of the campaign. I’ve killed both the Blood Elf and Naga bases and only have to obtain one remaining obelisk but every time I engage with Illidan the game crashes and closes out. I restarted a new game and the crash just continued to concur, albeit earlier in the mission (also when engaging Illidan).

Same here Bro. Illidan has gain new ultimate power! “End of the world” spell, of which Sorceress spoke off 
Still, I would be also glad to get some intel from you how to stop it.
Hey Bro, i don’t know how this exactly happened, but i did somehow manage to go over this issue.
During my several tries with different options I have learned that game is crushig if encounter with illidan last to long.
I focused all my forces on him and he died quickly. After his rebirth, the problem did not have occured.
