My account owns the old fronze throne. But cannot access the game with ‘ there was an error handling the request 6 10’ I have already done Warcraft III: Reforged Connection Problems suggest but nothing changed.
In order to play, you need to redeem a RoC game CD key in your Battlenet account. The TFT CD key isn’t needed and doesn’t do anything when redeemed.

the error handling request thing is usually a network issue. But just to cover the bases, you must have an RoC key attached to your account. TFT will not work.
Everyone is given TFT for free when they redeem their RoC key or buy Reforged.

Thank you for this reply. This was the solution I was searching for to resolve the 6:10 error. I added my The Frozen Throne key first because I found it first and the website seemed to imply either CD key works. But indeed the only one that matters is the Reign of Chaos key. Working perfectly now. Gotta get what I paid for those many moons ago before they disable the keys!

Yeah, we knew this was going to happen eventually because key generators are a thing and while most people probably are legitimate buyers of the original game once upon a time, it certainly was possible to generate valid keys and that probably became too big of a problem to ignore.

Yeah I guess it makes sense. Would be nice if they had clearer instructions, announced it more and maybe give to the end of the year. I feel like since we paid for it. we should be able to play it again whenever we wanted. Thanks to @Leviathan as well for also posting the solution. The other threads all said network and VPN issues.
I mean, to be fair we’ve literally had over 5 years since the launch of Reforged to redeem keys.
