Hey all, just installed Warcraft 3 1.29 Legacy, and I can’t load the first maps of the RoC campaign (Prologue and Human). I get “There was an error trying to load the selected map. The map is unavailble or corrupted”. I can load the first map of TFT campaign, but the right side of the UI is corrupted. Anyone know what the issue is?

Nvm, fixed it by removing all the enUS text from the front of the mpqs and movie/map folders
Hello, I have the same issue… Sadly, removing th enUS text as u did did not help for me
If anyone has any other trick lemme know… wanna play the game so bad but i cant
Few more things I did, but I dunno if they’ll help
-uninstalled Warcraft III
-deleted the Warcraft III entry from the registry using regedit - HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Blizzard Entertainment>Warcraft III < delete this (I had a non Battlenet copy installed before. Maybe it was interferring with the Battlenet copy)
-deleted the Warcraft III folder from Documents folder
-reinstalled the Battlenet version
-deleted every folder and mpq that wasn’t enUS
-removed all the enUS text from the remaining folders and mpqs
Now everything works perfectly. Make sure to disable auto update when reinstalling the game, or it’ll redownload all the files you delete
