I wonder when is Alhanalem going to get OP’s trolling. well, everyone needs a hobby.
nevermind…
The very top of Blizzard weren’t the ones who decided to make the game follow Mists of Panderia’s art style. They weren’t the ones who kept giving conflicting design goals like “it’s going to have cinematic cutscenes (that don’t work in the original engine)!” and “it’s going to be just like the original in the original engine!” The very top of Blizzard management weren’t the ones in charge of Warcraft 3 Reforged development and they weren’t the ones who mismanaged their resources.
Yes, the people at the top forced the game to release early, but it was going to be terrible because the people calling the shots on a day-to-day basis were terrible. They at the top could’ve given it an extra 36 months of development time and the models would’ve still looked terrible and people still would’ve used the classic graphics. Very little (I’d argue almost none) of the actual work done on Reforged was good to begin with.
In all honesty, we should be thankful that they didn’t have time to start mucking around with new units or heroes because Lord knows the development team would’ve made them terrible too.
More development time would have (presumably) made the menus lag less, but it wasn’t going to make the game good by any stretch of the imagination. It would have sucked less, but it still would have been a 2/10 release lol.
You put way too much effort into this thread
I check it every night after I finish boinking your mom (she says, “hi”). I couldn’t be prouder to have you as a stepdaughter, but please try and appreciate all of my hard work instead of insulting me for it. Maybe when you’re an adult, you’ll be able to appreciate it more. Your mom and I love you, sweetie.
now you’re getting weird.
hi honey, we can get weird tonight if you want to but please don’t derail my thread, thanks a bunch. hugs and kisses smooch smooch
As much as it would be great to be able to defend the “developers”.
We have already seen what the community could do with much less resources and much less time and having to work with other people’s code.
So no. In the case of W3R, it is clear that they failed at all levels of the company. Managers and developers alike.
I love WC III reforged so much, it’s so perfect that I don’t dare open it and gaze into such perfection. I hope diablo IV will be as good as warcraft III reforged so more people get to see this new awesome blizzard and not just WC III fans.
I’m thankful for Reforged because it convinced me to never give the cancer Actiblizzard any money ever again. Thank you for saving me money.
I was so excited and happy about reforged and the potential was huge. I saw people getting hyped pro’s coming back, old players, new players etc. Then came the failure, one of the biggest in the history of Blizzard. They didn’t listen to anyone and did their own thing. That led to that no one became happy and the new graphics where unplayable. Its rated lowest all time on metacritic etc. This could have been fixed and blizzard could have regain their reputation, instead they choose “were sorry you didn’t get the experience that you wanted”. They show how bad they become and this game is the face of that and no one is sadder then me or the community that never wanted anything but what should have happened, one of the greatest game ever reborn with new graphics and modern features.
Its too good to spoil by opening it
Hell yeah <more characters let’s go Blizzard!>
