Ever since Thursday evening I can no longer get past the lion screen. When I uninstall and reinstall, I get stuck on a black screen until I adjust the “seenintromovie” value from 0 to 1 in War3Preferences. I’ve tried all the other fixes I’ve seen: checked firewall, adjusted screen resolution, restarted and uninstalled/reinstalled, scan and repair, literally everything I’ve seen but there’s no forum with a true fix. I’ve seen this issue mentioned a few times so I’m wondering if anyone ever found a fix. Nothing else changed so it’s very random.
And all my saved games are gone!!

Same here. The game wouldn’t log me in, so I ran the offline mode and all the progress is gone!
Seems to be related to the Europe gateway. I can access through the Americas gateway but not Europe.

lol i was trying to play offline test of faith cause online doesnt work anyway and found out my week 25 game is no longer saved

I am also on EU, unable to login the entire weekend, due to issue 2:5 - continuing through offline-mode all my singleplayer saves are gone, so I cannot progress my campaign. This a nearly 25 year old game, that has been “reforged”, so that now your singleplayer save files cannot be accessed if there are server issues. Why are we regressing, not progressing as a society?

same here, got error 2:5, and my blizzard region is Americas.. though i am in europe.

I am in America. Can’t get into either the America or Euro servers, but I can get into Asia. Not using a VPN.
Getting the same error. Cannot login in any mode.
It would be nice if someone actually acknowledged this is a problem. And it clearly seems to be on the development side otherwise people from every region at the same time wouldn’t all be having the exact same issue. I’m amazed how pervasive this is, I’ve seen posts dating back 5+ years so it’s not a new issue.
