Some players at top of ladder and mmr gain per match

How are the asian players at the top of the ladder leaderboard ( Tak, Yaun, Deku) getting +200 mmr after every match. Yaun is like 600-7 record and still getting 200 mmr every match. His mmr must be 40,000 ? Is this just a visual bug? Im gaining between 15 and 40 mmr on average. The European guys at top of leaderboard like ossavi and saul also get around this. What is going on.

Also if you look at game details of people like Yaun and Deku, it shows that around 50% of their games atleast are free wins. And the other 50% are apparently without making a hero. Is this a visual bug? It seems fishy with how many free wins they get. I think with this newer matchmaking system of preferring to match you with the person closest to you (because of ping), that there could be some potential ways to abuse this.

Does anyone have any insight on any of this? Has anyone played Yuan or Deku and can confirm they are actually good? or make heroes?

No idea. There are some people here who claim to face the #1 players all the time but that’s never happened to me. Maybe ask them? lol

Something is definitely very wrong with how things are being calculated. Yaun and Deku (might be the same person) are almost certainly cheating, most likely with disc hack. I also don’t understand how certain players are being shown to gain 100s of mmr per game, yet they play the same person multiple games in a row. At the very least something is being exploited, and at the worst players are just outright cheating. It also seems that some players may not have been affected by the most recent XP gain/loss change with the most current update. Really really odd.

It’s 100% wrong. He’s still in the Elite rank, so that guy is doing something that only he knows—maybe an error in the game that he found, or possibly hacking. He’s still in Elite. All the players on the ladder top 20 below Gladiator with good stats are often cheating in some way, not all but some, or they know a bug that we don’t. But hey, I could be wrong. In Random Teams, if they are below Elite, but correct me if I’m wrong

Yea! The mysterious case of Yaun:

  • only wins with absurd mmr gains
  • everything on ‘0’ in the score-table of every match (even unit points, something virtually impossible)
  • matches still last as long as up to 12 minutes

This guy definitely has some cheat or bug exploit going on. Or it’s simply a blizzard dev who’s trolling us

well in some cases they just haven’t played enough games to get there. but you’re mostly correct.

Hi,

I think you are good, for yaun :

  • only wins with absurd mmr gains
→ i guess the broken mmr of battle.net give infinite big mmr if you never lose ?
  • everything on ‘0’ in the score-table of every match (even unit points, something virtually impossible)
→ yes strange thing, but it happens on some other account for no reason
  • matches still last as long as up to 12 minutes
→ There is some match where the game dured 28mn (vs woaud112 25/04/25)

You can see the stats of yaun : 3752 win to 2161 lose, so it was close to the 50% player before going 1163-13 in 1v1 . Strangely he face only player with 45% - 55% witch for a good mmr (1600+) on w3c it’s a freewin.

So i think bug abuse, and had to play somes games.
If it’s asian, i think about ping abuse, personnally i leave when ping is more than 150ms.

hi yes I see he has +200 but even heroes don’t order, maybe ping is breaking in the game that everyone is leaving, moved the wire +1000 ping for the opponent

They are all cheating and should be banned accordingly.
