Age of Empires 3 also came to my mind. AOE 4 also a good option. I just checked though and they don’t seem to be supported anymore. Microsoft Game Studios has done a very good job of supporting and updating their older titles in my experience. Just not for Mac 
You could try an emulator such as Parallels or CrossOver.
