Once more I support this.
The old voices have been with us for 18 years now and are part of the Warcraft III experience. Would love to have an option to switch to the old sounds aswell.
And if thatās going to happen: The German Shaman had been speaking English for years

The English voices SUCK. Yeah you heard me, theyāre 17 freaking years old and the sound quality is poop by todayās standards.
Well, I donāt care? The good voices made me change to the bad ones. Must be a reason for that.

Iām fully supporting this. I bought reforged (and I think most of its actual players) just for all the nostalgia of the game that brought so much fun to us 18 years ago. And as everyone can imagine, not having the original voices is something really huge, it just doesnāt feel right. So please, Blizzard, give us the option to allow for all the localisations to use the original voices.

OMG. Im laughing so hard right now. English should have gotten new voice actors but didnāt. The rest of the world didnāt want new voice actors but got them.
Thats an epic fail. At first I thought germans are the only ones with new VA. But we are in the same boat after all.

Iām a bit disappointed about this lack of communication. Is it possible to have at least a reason for not bringing back old voices ?
Itās just another switch in options with voices that are already there. Wtf is wrong with those people ?
I pay for classic and tft long time ago, canāt play those versions anymore.
Then I pay for a remaster with classic content but not all of it ? Just why ???

Besides the new dubbing it has errors. As you can see that in a talk two dialogues hit that have nothing to do. And Madiv goes from being calm to being scared to being calm again for that matter.

The only dubbing that is left original is english one. Itās looks like some kind of racism tbh

Itās not xenophobic (again, in this context it is a language), because English, French, German, Russian isnāt a country.
Please, stop throwing the word around casually without knowing what it means. Heck, the whole āraceā bull**** isnāt even a thing in sociology anymore. You arrange people into ethnic groups based on heritage, where they live, the language group they belong to etc. Itās only the uneducated masses that still believes thereās such a thing as āraceā.

the english ones are the same? I thought they sounded different, the rifleman Im Your Shooter! is like a meme for my friends group and it sounds different to me, but maybe its all in my head.
Excuse you me, but US of A is not the only English speaking country in this world. Thereās the UK, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and a host of other countries on top of those.
Secondly, a lot of minor countries only had the English dub too, I meanā¦ Thereās no Scandinavian dubbing at all, we all had to use the English dub.

Please, justā¦ stop. I beg you to read up on racismā¦ It is a horrible thing and to act as if new dubs for anyone, but English is even remotely in the camp of racism is honestly an affront to all the minorities that were murdered because of their ethnicity.
The value of racism was long lost. In my country it is racism to say that a person with dark tea is stronger. Itās racism by law-
But to the subject. When you do things wrong, you will only earn more mistakes than you did. You are the one who gives too much weight to the subject. You lose yourself in the details.
That has nothing to do with racism but just saving money.
Because in the original they saw it to late, that the whole WC III campaign did not fit on the CD but they voiced already the whole Prolog for the english Demo so they saved themself the money and cut out the last three prolog missions without any voiceover or explenation.
They where readded but without voice for anyone as a custom campaign to download at TFT.
But because this did not fit for the Reforged they revoiced the whole campaign inclusive this three missions for the first time because it would look bad if you just put in a Remaster three missions which do not have any voice but the rest does. But because the original english missions still do have voice they just saved themself the work for a functioning switching voice button and a whole english voiceover and forced everyone to live with the decicion.

But just as the reformed missions do not have new dialogues.
So it still looks bad. When you kill Sylvanas, he has generic dialogues and the King of the Belfos does not speak.
Making it clear that it is an unfinished game. Not only with bugs.
