I’m updating [Warkeys 1.32.0]

are you the author of warkeys? if blizzard still refuses to bring a simple hotkey menu, that would totally be a DREAM and would make lefthanders safe dozens of hours of .txt file editing

Here you have my customkeys.txt for NIGHTELF ONLY (i do the other races later, this is LOTS of work and testing) work in progress so far:

(put this into C:\Users\USER\Documents\Warcraft III\CustomKeyBindings ; activate customkeys in options, restart client)

  • inverted GRID on Numpad, example: X___https://imgur.com/a/RG9jneI

  • hero controls on Numpad, example:

  • all rebinded keys and rebinded every function from Nightelfs for lefthanded Numpad controls

  • you have to keybind your unitgroups on mousebuttons since theyre hardbound to 1,2,3,4,5 etc and can not be changed because blizzard is a lazy retard

since Blizzard is a lazy fck we do have to make some compromises: Keybinds will NOT show up in the tooltips or the tolltip still shows old keybinds but theyre on numpad anyways (because their coding sux) but all of em are there, the screenshots above should give u a general idea how it is setup (inverted grid to numpad, special functions like “uproot”; “hide”; etc. are on num 0; cancel is on delete, hold is pgup, stop is pgdwn, atack is num decimal; rightshift and right ctrl do work; camera controls on arrowkeys)

I am still working on this and it takes lots of time (especially since you can not use cheats in customgames and have to restart client after every change, BLIZZARD U SUCK!)

(for some keys use DECIMAL VALUE, other keys require HEXADECIMAL VALUE, this is trial and error, blizzard again: u suck so mutch)

i will do the other races within the next month (in total those are 10091 lines of code) i will do a reddit post and a new forum post when everything is done, until then write me here if u got any questions

This is a preview, I’ve already tested it. Of course you can’t map certain hotkeys because they’re hardcoded (creating groups with CTRL, the F1/F2/F3 keys for selecting heroes and so forth).

“Dota hotkeys” works just fine
