New balance changes are not good

I say it, and my long time veteran bro agrees it.

every balance change they made is incredible trash.

some of their changes didn ruin anything like -1 agility from bm… but critical strike nerf was terrific. bm was orc only way to survive.

theyn now they buff hh and made it totally imbalanced so everyone uses it. that is not the idea of balance to make units so imba that everyone is forced to use them. instead you should try to make every unit viable.

hunts and archer balance is another thing. there are now so many changes that everything feels like a mess.

many of old tactics doesnt work at all anymore. forexample orc t2 raider + sw+ grunt is really bad against orc who makes hh.

i really wanted to come back to this game, but when i came back u started to tweak this game, more and more.

i wanted just to come back for nostalgia. i wanted maybe some new maps, new battle .net background and some respectable love towards original wc3 makers like samwise and that other guy. but what i see is you just want to play around with the strong foundation what was made by blizzard-north. i think you have lost ur vision about what made this game fun. and ur changes are really unfun.

one thing that i give u respect is that u reduce b. net lag. thats amazing. but u created unseen issue with clicks unable to register sometimes. now u need to double check everything and its sometimes frustrating.

idk, keep im mind when you make this game that if you just try to make it poorly it will show. and the community of wc3 has very long roots. more than 15 years have some gamers be here. they have amazing knowledge and vision. i dont even mean grubby or somethink like that. many pro players are silent and wish they even they dont talk they are still taken into consideration when making balance changes. please revert that stypid critical strike change that u made. instead, u can remove bm collision remove change that was made long ago. so that when bm is invisible he cant dodge units but instead he can be blocked by units.

I agree that every balance change they make diverts the game further and further from what it was and they have made and are planning to make lots of them. That is generally a concept that I don’t like for a classic game, especially considering that the game didn’t receive balance changes for several years (or at least Reign of Chaos didn’t beyond Blademaster’s Wind Walk duration getting reduced a little, and Frozen Throne got very few in that time). It completely overhauls the gameplay from what it was known for and what we were used to, and yes is a slap in the face to people looking for nostalgia.

It’s one thing to only do minor balance changes that only affect resource/supply cost, damage, speed, and duration of spells, but when you add or remove effects of spells, change what they target, go so far as to half the duration of them and/or double the rate of their effects, change techtree requirements for units or upgrades, or even where units are built from, those are all much more drastic changes that significantly change the game. Starcraft Remastered on the other hand was much more respectable in leaving the game balance alone.
