I’ll give Blizzard that. WC3 community united itself pretty darn well, so they managed to achieve that at least, just not in ways Blizzard expected them to.
Still, it’s the thought that counts.

look, in my opinion the graphics did end up being better in many senses. It looks pretty neat. But they also dont objectively look superior overall. There are definite disadvantages with the new graphics, all these new details make it look grainy and less easily distinguishable in large unit groups. So …yeah… the graphics are better but at what price
Their “upgrade” looks like something that happens when I’m drunk and on nexusmods for a full night…
cmon man, if you start a standard game right now and make an orc base then it looks pretty cool. But yeah, it’s not perfection like the original game was

That is also my point of view. ok but not as good as the classic version was.
Just remember what we got was cuz of the “PRO” Community thinking they know what is best for WC3

If blizzard makes a public statement with your words it will matter. They CM’s should speak with community, if they can’t … so, a community always find what to say for.
They need just to fix bugs, make panels smaller, and add party search to play against AI.
All of that can be done very fast.
Yup, game’s already an improvement on classic. Just needs a few new features.
