What is the point on having an historial of wins and looses if anyone can see it?, before the great patch wich changed the aspect of the game was possible in a custom game room see the profile of other players, I have created a lot of custom games and is usefull see the profile of other players, so you can play or be and observer if you don’t have the same experience as the rest of the players
anyone can see it. I think you meant “no one?”
But… you can view anyone’s profile in game, MMR IS visible on the loading screen and can be checked in game with commands. Level is visible on profiles, in the chat user list and on the leaderboards. What more do you need?
If you can’t see someone’s MMR on the loading screen it means they’ve played less than 5 games in that queue with that account. If you see multiple people with no MMR shown on the same side, that usually (but not always) means it’s a group that, again, has played less than 5 games together.
That latter case is something I’ve been pushing to get them to address, it should just be showing (and using) their personal MMRs.
No idea what u are talking about, type !stats to check mmr…
No. In my opinion, there shouldn’t be a public list of everyone’s wins and losses. Instead, there should be a rating or matchmaking score based on a weighted average.
It’s similar to how schools work in many civilised countries: your individual grade isn’t publicly compared with everyone else’s. At most, you might see where you stand on the overall bell curve (Gaussian normal distribution), without exposing everyone else’s results.
A ranking system should give a reasonable estimate of a player’s skill without making their entire match history public. Public match histories often end up being used for name-and-shame posts or personal attacks instead of helping players find balanced games.
I’d ask you to avoid using such complex mathematical terms. Otherwise, Blizzard will be forced to hire you to tweak the matchmaking process.
Funny how we happen to have both these things.
I’m getting more and more curious to see player profiles now, like what are you wanting to hide…
