since blizzard no longer seem to care about patching this game, maybe they can outsource it. the balancing can still be handled through a dialogue between blizzard and the patch developers. outsourcing patching is rare but, not unheard of. original war`s patching was outsourced.
just give it to GOG…

maybe, though gog does not develop additional content. they only try to get things working perfectly. it would be best to outsource it to a team that can add in the missing stuff, like co-op, ladder and remastered campaign, which was leaked online.
Frankly, if GOG got to distribute the pre-Reforged version I’d be happy as rain.

I think so, if Blizzard think they can’t do something new to warcraft3 or can’t make any profit but only loss from this game. Just leave it to another publisher, take a couple bucks, it’s win-win for all of us.
that was the idea. Just release the old version with small fixes for resolution and so on.
As for the old battlenet well… it’s better a stable connection than this anyway…
A GOG version with W3C Incorporated would be great! It would solve all current problems.
